SFO- The States of the Fraternal Order (White Giant)

Hello all. I have an announcement regarding SFO:

SFO is still alive and kicking and will be recruiting soon on both WG and FB. Those candidates interested in a peaceful coexistence and are willing to work with others for the security of our great federation are encouraged to come try us out. The commonmarket is still quite active and their are still a few of us that are willing to help out the newer players and teach them them basics.

As you all know, Laguna has lent his support to the salvation of SFO even though he is quite active in other federations. He is a valuable asset and friend and I wish to thank him publicly for coming on board. He is wise and a friend to many. His involvement with SFO does not interfere with his other federations' business'. I'm sure it is a struggle and possible tension with his other feds and I want to thank them as well for the understanding as he helps us get back to normal.

As you all know I have gone indy. That does not mean I forget my friends. I have also left WG, at least for now. WG was my first world. It is where I learned this game. Heck I am still learning it after all this time. Sfo has a long history going back to its PPW days. I will be adding some things to Treasure so the history is correct and especially the history on FB. Sfo did not start out PPW on FB, it began as the Cassandra Union. Soon I will post an announcement concerning FB and will cover that history there as well as other important things.

A Fed is only as good as the people in it, and the word of those people, especially the leadership. As most of you know or ought to, I have repeatedly declined the leadership of these feds. I have acted only in the interests of the feds I belonged to - and yes this has made me enemies. To them all I can say is I did what I felt was the right thing to do at the time, if you dont understand that

I was wondering where "sfo" came from

SFO will continue to have the full support of the Western Fed on FB. We have high hopes to see SFO revitalized and return to its might here. Watching many of the players who's names i have followed since the birth of my first country walking into the sunset. Though the fed has long remained very quite. Our fed remains with SFO Interest on the mind.

I am pleased to announce that negotiations between Allied Forces and SFO have been fruitful. SFO now has a defensive alliance with our brothers in AF. The goal is to help the security of each fed on WG and for mutual protection from attacks. This is currently in effect on WG.

Pertaining to FB, SFO and AF have joined forces and is now known as SFOAF with officers from each federation in control. This is only in effect on FB. The goal is also to secure both feds' legacies.

Currently there are no plans for other worlds.

SFO is currently accepting recruits on WG. Please contact me in game or in chat for details. SFOAF is accepting new members on FB. Contact Madhatter on FB for details.

We welcome new players that have a willingness to learn and work with others to achieve a common goal. We are peaceful and use diplomacy when possible to achieve these goals. We ask that new recruits be full members or plan on becoming one soon. We also ask that you be active in the game. No disappearing for 3 weeks and coming back to find your empire gone and asking why. Inactive players are prime targets for all veteran players.

SFO was started as a drunken bet between Dave and I that turned into a bunch of people Federating and things..Then some stuff happened and then for a while nothing really happened. Then Dave wrote a Constitution with many descriptive terms and ten dollar words. I liked it. Then some more stuff happened. Then Saber created a website..I liked it as well...Then some other stuff happened and I absconded to LU with the SFO Christmas Party Fund.....The End.

I don't like idiots...but I am very helpful with people truly interested in eco. And Dave and Treas are both extremely good at it. I also enjoy having a federation that is officially neutral....we are more about eco than war....so if you want to nuke people indiscriminately, this is not the fed for you. If you want to make money and hold strategic stock or fix your countries eco, we have lots of fun OCD people here.

Oh...and lots and lots of deactivated ammo...lol
