I had a corporation that was building High schools Had Hi employment, plenty of cash and around 300 high schools ready to sell just vanished. Looks like I may have gained some game cash. WHY did it close? I was purposely holding the schools to use later. What happened to all the material / stock that was used to build the schools? Is storing product in your corporation not permitted? and if so why? I also ran through the paper and there was no mention of it closing or why.

I created a wing, then it got dismantled, re-activated it, recreated it, and again, dismantled, and missing ammo, now i'm reactivating the weapons for the third time. i've got other wings that that seem to be fine.

That could be a supply issue, the ammo should not be missing beyond the monthly use (which in my opinion is too high)

There is now an increasing number of corporations on Tiny Atlas and if the receive materials on time, they generally are doing good.

we see a small number of closures.
conditions are the same as on the other worlds.

most close because of lack of materials or workers.
when they close, the owner (the country) gets the proceeds.
and also pays the loans.

I have had two corps close. Both on Tiny Atlas, Both were well supplied and had plenty of cash and unsold inventory. Neither corp had any information in the newspaper indicating why they may have closed. Both disappeared after a small earthquake had occurred in each country. I'm not asking for anything to be done or any type of reparations. I'm not crazy and this did happen.

OK I just had a major earthquake in Atlas 3. All three of the corporations were closed due to damage I hope This was not You way of showing me what happened this seems to be a little Severe. So now since the start of planet, atlas, I’ve lost five corporations do to earth quake. Perhaps you can turn this down a little

Earthquackes do destroy corporations.
what you describe is extreme.
I will check why this happens.

I have one country there from the start and di not have any such event.

And
No.
I am not involved.
How do you get to such an idea. I wonder what you think of us here.
You should realise we are quite busy here and we never intervene. Not for and not against anyone.

natural disasters are a function in the game with some random number determining when, were and how severe it is. There are no possibilities to activate or prevent them.

It is the same on all worlds but Tiny Atlas has fewer countries so the chance is several times higher than in the other worlds.
We did not think about this before.
why in your country, god knows.
Maybe because you think so bad of us.

Relax My comments were halfhearted. It would seem there is a slight communication problem. (understanding) I will be more cautious with my wording.Of coarse I do not feel targeted. I do understand how busy you are and I play the game because I enjoy it. I'm okay with a sarcastic back and forth. I do have some questions, but have limited time now. Overall I think you guys do a good job or I would not be here.

and with your other changes... i'm not gonna be able to stop migrant children from flooding over my border. i mean, that's literally what's sim happening in Number 26.

This is after several days of purposeful -migration in #26, just to catch my breath. Look at "The Kingdom of Sohum, and its an even bigger bubble.

Most the migrants are 4-12 age. which is great! except that education and health systems are heavily strained. only way to stop it is to lower corp util. and now i can't rebuild to the 5 i had. i'm not sure just lowering production will do it. but i'll give it a try.

And Andy, The Kingdom of Sohum, is running 10% SSI and still +115 Migrants, and with the same pop bubble as #26. The only way to manage this, that I can see, is corp util.

Over all, you end up building schools just to keep up, can you reduce the positive effect? its to much.

I figured out the same when looking at the distribution of the population.
don't know why but we did not create a new procedure for TA.
It is the same as on the other worlds when adding population.

I will ask the engineer who did this, (very very long time ago).

I tried to increase population quickly and the school index just kept declining.
I ended up with 8! elementry school building corporations.
now created the third highschool building corporation, and the index seems to stabilize, not falling any more.

Looking at these numbers in the young groups, it seems that in several weeks, we will have numbers in the groups 18 to 24 increasing very quickly.
It will increase birth numbers and the population will grow very fast.

This will happen no matter what you do.
keep moving in population or stopping.

Lowering utilization in some corporations does help.
I did too to find out.

Also,
having now 17 corporations, and 20M+ population,
you need to transport an amzing amount of products.

its a race for the first Targon mining corporation.
start educating many high tech engineers, executives and managers.
you will need large numbers.

this is the last day this week, totally get you hap other crap that had to be done, but i'm sitting here with a ton of every profession ready to go. and this is the second time this has been pushed back

would you please do one or both of 2 things. give a new time frame to wait, and give a clue as to how many with something to the effect of saying "2-3 times the workers of another natural resource," or what ever it is

Discovery alread happened.

In the mean time, the distribution problem in the population groups is also being resolved.

Check the population groups in the age groups 0 to 21, they are all declining.

on the other hand, population in the groups of 24 to 50 is growing quite fast.

The change is done several days ago.

in the mean time, the number of children, and the need for so many schools is declining while the number of available workers is growing fast.

the process will continue until the balance between age groups will be restored.

Yeah, it's really not the easiest system to work around. Constantly going to each of my countries on WG, using immediate buy, then moving to the local space center, scheduling a transport. It's boring Zzzz....
Would really like it once normal resources are available on TA, at least then self-sustainability can begin.
It's tedious and takes a while, especially since the shuttles don't use their down time to return to WG. It takes >24 hours for the shuttles to make the full circuit.

No worries, I haven't figured out how to make it stop honestly though I've been trying. If even one gauge is low, then it seems to pull the whole welfare index down.

Corp util is the determining factor for migration. Welfare is part of it, but I've seen countries on TA, with min Welfare from the transportation index, still ranking in migrants.

As far as moving products, yea, the wait with empties hanging out in TA, is disappointing. But to answer the other half of that.

I've got over 100 corps, and whats working for me. I set the order strats for a couple of my countries to auto-buy. Like Potassium is becoming the new stone, so i set it to 500B to buy at 10m to 50m chunks. I don't have to wait until its done, it'll keep going anyway. I don't have to take it all out. And any I take out, it'll auto-order. I use my CEOs to make surgical purchases for things that are low on TA, that I haven't built a stock pile of, on LU or WG.

There needs to be a way to stop illegal immigration. Without destroying your welfare index. Immigration should be controlled by the leader of any country. Personally on Tiny Atlas being basically a safe planet you do not need a high population to be prosperous. There is no need to build a large defense force unless it is to stop illegal immigration. My goal is to mine Targon ship it back to my main empire to develop into whatever weapon systems that will be using it.As of now you can only build one factory per country, which will have minimum Targon to mine. A high population increases cost and demands more goods. It takes a lot of time. You drain resources and money from your main empire. We should be able to sell anything created or shuttled to Atlas in the open market. Not just direct trading.
