When a fed goes to war with a C3, will a ground unit next to a target from one country protect another countries air force that attacks that target?

Dood. I posted this the same time I posted the others! What can I do! Take it off! No! Anyway, if C3's don't attack, why when I attack a target do I loose a part of the attack force?

This is what I'm talking about. 'Will a ground unit next to a target(C3 air unit) from one country protect another countries air force that attacks that target?(C3 air unit)'
Even when the Defensive air force is taken out (I do know how to fight a war) I will still loose Heavy Tank's/Artilery Ect.
All I want to know is..............
Anyway.....................

A c3's ground unit wont protect a c3's air unit, if thats what your asking.
You need an air wing with drones and fp(use to attack a county) to take c3's air def.

Helloa Rob.
Thank's for the reply's.
But....... I know how to take a C3. I have many of them. I'm also not talking about the C3 defenses, 'Will a ground unit from a Fed member positioned next to a target(C3 air unit) protect another fed members air force that attacks that target?(C3 air unit)'.

The reason why my fed went to war with a C3(Before I get the piss taken out out me again) is my fault. I did'nt check mt fed voting. I also deleted some messages and one of them must have been the declaration. I also thought if you lose a war it has an effect on the war score? So as I'm the leader and as the president who started it was'nt able to finish it, I had to make sure we won, so my other members did'nt have a war lost against them.

Anyway, it turns out if you don't finish a war it has no effect on the war ranking of a country.

As for if a positioned unit from one fed member infuences the saftey and efficiency of an attacking unit from another fed member, I'm still not too clear on.

Ground units dont assist from a fed. air support is available from fed members...1. if within range.2. if declared via war treaty.just being in a fed doesnt give air support.

But ground unit's do assist if they are from your own country and positioned on the target?
