Military Unit Question (White Giant)

Hello Everyone, I have a question concerning military units. When I check the units within an Air Force Attack Wing, it says that attack wing has 1000 Fighter Planes.

However, when I check my countries overall stock of products, it says my country only has 11 fighter planes.

Question 1, is the 11 fighter planes in my country stock spare fighter planes on top of the 1000 planes in the Attack wing?

Question 2, if I setup a new Attack Wing, or even a Land based division or battalion, does my country automatically go out and purchase the weapons necessary to fully stock that new division?

question 1: yes, if you have active units, they will not show up on the inventory of weapons.

question 2: No, you must have the weapons in stock in order to put them into units. Supply units can bring more supplies and ammuntion, but the fighters, tanks, etc. need to be in place to create the unit.
