Replacing losses (Fearless Blue)

How long does it take for a resupply unit to replace weapons lost in a unit. My air attack wing has been waiting two real days for replacements. I have 5 army/air units and 8 supply units. Enough fuel, supplies replacement weapons etc. I have no shortages preventing the supply unit replacing the loses. My units are all stationed at bases in their home country. Why is it taking so long for the supply units to take replacements to the units?
Yes I know I can disband the unit and reform it, but I want the supply units to do their job!

You need far more supply units. Supply units have to replenish garrisons, as well.

I have no garrisons. I have checked the logs of my supply units and some of them are just sitting there. Some have been resupplying my land divions, others have not moved in months!

Only 2 of my supply units have done anything in the last 3 game months according to their logs. And even they only do one trip a month. Even though they are at the same base as the land divisions and my airbase is very close to my offensive army base, they still do nothing!
