I have seen lots of questions about why peoples army unit Garrisons continues to state they are not replenished. Well, I just found out, that it is the defensive Jeeps, Light Artillery and Tanks which tends to disappear from the garrisons...

I wonder why my defensive jeeps, artillery and tanks disappear when I am not at war..?

I have lost over 1000 jeeps, over 1000 light artillery and over 1000 light tanks...

this has to be a glitch. Report this in the problems section.

This is more likely due to them being de-activated. Be sure you have the staff available to man them or they will be withdrawn from garrisons.
A message will appear in your country newspaper when this happens although the message is easy to miss if it is published while you are not on line. You can check back on previous issues.

I have a problem now that may be related: my light tank ammunition is purchased by my country, but never shows up in the defensive weapons inventory.

It's delivered by one of my own corporations via contract, and the log of recent sales shows that they have indeed been sold.

It's 6.000 pieces per month, but my stock has remained at 10.000 for months.

Is it just a delay or what could be wrong here?

You should check on your monthly use of that ammo. Maybe you use that 6K each month.

It could also be the case that garrisons or units with light tanks in them are slowly being filled up to the required levels of ammo. If at one point they ran out it would take a while to fill them depending on the number of tanks and how many supply units you have.

If you have the cash, make a one off purchase of say 100K or 50K pieces, that should cover everything and the 6K will keep you topped up.

No, my monthly consumption is only around 800.

But the part about the garrisons could be an explanation. The numbers I look up in defensive army>inspect forces, do they include or exclude content in the garrisons?

Also, what about the consumption of those 800 (found on the world market screen)? Does it include the garrisons consumption or not?

I have a similar problem with helicopter missiles.

I reckon, but wouldn't swear on it, that ammo used in and held in garrisons is not included in inspect forces pages, at least the monthly use isn't, I'm almost certain of that.

The only way to be sure is to go through each garrison and compare its ammo in stock with what it should be from the garrison blueprint. Then at least you would know if the 6K is going in supply units to top them up. If not then it is the monthly training ammo. That is most likely I would say but its a bit of a guess. I wouldn't have thought they disappear, very unlikely.

If you de-activate tanks or helis that aren't actually in units then I believe they use far less training ammo.
