From what I've heard from other players, war levels were implemented after a world war in order to make sure it didn't happen again. Now, as anyone knows, war levels have ruined the war game. When combined with war protection, war levels make it essentially impossible to take control of another player's country. So if we can show them that we can thwart their twisted designs, then maybe we can show them that it's pointless and to give in to popular demand. So here's what I was thinking: On each planet we capture C3s, build up the C3s war levels, and create mega-federations with the C3s, having each country sing the war treaty. Then, specific countries in each federation declare on other federations, the war treaties go into effect, and the entire game is engaged in a series of violent global wars. Speak up if you agree, disagree, or have a different idea for convincing them to get rid of the war levels.

I guess you've read my forums eh? why don't we sign some kind of petition on the problems section of this forum and get as many names on that page as we can who are against these war levels

But a lot of people do not agree with me when I said as soon as anybody has 5 countries or over you should not be protected by the games rules and be able to attack anybody who also has 5 countries or over, somebody said it would affect the economic side of the game but if they want to play the economic side of the game I suggest they play as a CEO.

I don't think the war treaty was working last I checked. Anyway, no more than 25 countries can be involved in a single war.

I voted for that, james. And open, if we were to put each fed at 24, then someone declared on a fed, the entire fed would dec back. that would put him at 24 wars, and he could then dec on another fed. that actually works, and if the other fed was at the max, then you can have 39 wars running at once. I think it's 39, w/ever, you get the point.

Open Sesame points out a very important flaw. The war treaty only works 5% of the time.

I'm not sure I agree that war levels were a result of any one particular war. Thats not the version of things I remember, and I was there. So can we not propagate this distorted version of events please. Comment if you were around but hearsay holds no weight.

Yes james, I think it could. Crafty, I was going with what I had heard on the forums. I don't think that a petition would work, I mean, pretty much everyone on the forums hate the war levels, and they haven't done shit.

Its all stupid... war levels, the incessant whining of newbies without a clue, the putrid stench of moaning vets with new names pretending to be n00bs, the entire lot of you refusing to simply play a game that you only pay at most 50 bucks a year for but instead want to shape it as if it was your own creations.... oh sorry, rambling.

And Double-Bob, war levels have kept you around and safe long enough to continue your noise on these 'broad street' forums. There was a time when.... And then came war levels, which I do not like, but I don't like rapid changes that are counter-productive to the stability a game needs to maintain its' player base and make the jump from 'good' to 'great'.
