Question about units (White Giant)

hello. so here is the scenario and the question:

LRD division attacks target, loses, say 100 mid-range batteries

I have 200 more mid-ranges sitting in my country stock. Since the LRD's weapons targen for Mids is set at 1000, will supply units automatically set out to deliver more mid-range batteries to keep the unit at its desired strength?

Also, if I, for example, didn't have those 200 extra mids sitting around. would my country automatically order more? (I have the automation feature for military supplies and what not on)

Supply units will try to get the units up to strength again, yes. I dont think your country will auto buy the batteries though unless you set a stock target on the trade pages.

will the country auto-buy the ammo? as of now, I haven't seen it do so

Depends on your settings. If you've asked the country to it will, if you haven't, then it wont. If you go negative it will auto order at immediate and cost you a lot.
