MMMmmmm Nukes Nukes are good Anyone thinking they are a waste of time think again. After a while the enemy army will dismantle due to lack of population and workers due to them being NUKED Clearing a way for air and ground forces to attack targets without threat
The one thing I do miss about loosing my empires, due to not renewing subscription, is the loss of my armed forces including over 1000 Nuke bombers and over 2000 nuke bombs

I remember when nukes were introduced to the game they used to cause massive damage, millions not ten of thousands like now. All attacks were reported to the newspapper. This was nerfed for somewhat reason...

It was probably nerfed after a huge nuclear war that happened in LU and crippled nearly all countries, even though not that many participated. There's an article about it on the Simcountry wiki.

The war between LDI and Valde Subsidium was a massive nuclear war. All the nukes flew in one direction though, right into Valde Subsidium countries haha. Massive empires were wrecked from the damage and thousands of corporations shut down from damage in under 24 hours of fighting.

It was haha. It happened in 2008, so ancient history.

we have reduced damage to surrounding countries. This took place a very long time ago.
