Deploying air wings (Fearless Blue)

I tried to buy an offensive miltitary airport to station inteceptor wings at, but I was not allowed to because it said I had too few aircraft to need a new airbase. Now interceptors are based at offensive militaty airports although they are defensive in nature...... If I want to spread out my defences to decrease the effect of a nuke attack on my country I cant without buying more offensive aircraft to allow me to buy more offensive airports to deploy defensive fighters!!! This is crazy!

Have you considered deploying some NDB to the targets subject to Nuke attacks. Makes a a lot of sense to me.

I have NDBs ;-) But if one got through I dont want half of my airforce going with it!
