Am I mis-understanding something? Why are people setting their tax rates so low? Presidents have a country to run. That means infrastructure to build and maintain, plus an army to fund.

I'm all for being business friendly, but at 0% you get nothing and the CEO makes out like a bandit. I can understand being lower then the C3 countries, but let's be reasonable.

All countries get 40% of the income of all the private corps.

On top of the taxes? And is that income or profit? I've been playing for less then a week and I'm still digging around finding things out.

Yes, the CEO corps pay a fee 'country resources used'. That is how countries profit from private corps. So if you have low taxes and available workers and advertise, then those corps will move to your country.

and its not on top of of taxes, its based on sales, not profit, its part of the ceo corps costs, then you tax whats left, ceo's endup paying countries resourses, (the 40% mentioned above,) then taxes, then an enterprise tax... so setting your taxes to 0 is the best way to invite ceo corps to build or relocate to your country, not always, but in general a president can make more money by 0% tax, and all ceo corps, than state owned corps...

Kelson I (formally Simon445461) I have a second country. "Southern Campaign", I just added 2M pop. and am moving corp tax down to 2%. CEO Corp welcome. My Main " Gwynedd" just added 2M pop as well and will accept any CEO corp.

Also, I now have an enterprise "Saint Camber Inc" and I think it has been long enough that I can build in a country with a president other than my own. Looking for countries to build in. Thanks K
