Welcome to Kepir Blue. What nation do you lead?

1. You can't. Population will only increase over time.
2. No. It's unfortunate, but there is no way.
3. Yes. New players will get up to two gifts per day (you get them when you log in). These gifts can be money, weapons, or population.

Also, there is a maximum population limit. For some reason, the skilled players and developers don't like big nations. If you become successful and hit the limit (which I'm sure you will :) ), you can just conquer another country and build there.

There's a soft cap on population around 60 million. Keep your pop under that or bad stuff happens.

I know Tiempo is just trying to help but he has mislead you a bit.

Gold coins will buy population, and if you find the right people to buy them from you may pay only 2 or 3 GC per million people, try in SCCAFE chat. Also you can swap population worker types with other countries at an advantageous ratio, if you send say 1000 highly educated workers you could get 10 times as many low level workers back. (The exact ratios all depend on salaries of each type).

Also, you can influence the natural growth rate in a couple of ways. Your health index is the main thing here. Aim for 100+, building hospitals as you have the doctors and nurses and can afford. Examination of your population page will show you the trend of birth rate and death rate. Obviously you want more babies than cadavers.
The last comment I have is 'migration' where workers move to your country from the surrounding area because you have a better welfare rating. Its hard to pinpoint what is ideal for good welfare and migration but better salaries amongst other things are going to attact more people.

Hope that helps.

Thanks Crafty. You know I was just thinking of lowering my salaries so my Countries and Corps can profit more. You just reminded me how salaries can effect 'migration'.

Ohhhh....

Well, I wasn't thinking about the health care thing, but yeah, having good health quality will cause all of your people to live longer and have more children.

I wasn't aware it was possible to buy population with Gold Coins.
