I hope I am not addressing something that has already been mentioned here; I didn't see any posts about it, though. Yesterday the FMU shortage was 8M+, now it is suddenly only 750K or so. Do I need to convert all my FMU corps to soybeans in anticipation of a FMU glut, or is this just a bookkeeping adjustment by GM?

many products are in short supply which creates an unstable economy. my guess is that gm is trying create an infusion of products, in this case FMU's to create some stability.

Indeed.
We have seen that FMUs were in a very severe short supply on all the worlds.
it went too far and was putting other products at risk.

we have made a one time injection of products on all the worlds.

This action did not change the price of the products and did not change production and consumption numbers.

There is no structural change.

There are severe problems with several other products and small interventions have taken place and will continue today to stabilize the markets.
These interventions are much smaller and are triggered automatically when shortages are too severe and can cause a market failure.

Also here, no changes in pricing as shortages are reduced in several cases but not eliminated.

Lol. OK, Andy, I thought maybe that was the case, but paranoia wouldn't let me not mention it. Take it easy if you adjust High tech services, as I just built about 20 corps in the last (real) fortnight. :)
