I can remember knowing how to deal with this problem in 2006, but for the life of me, I cant seem to remember out how to solve it, ummm without a pop transfer. (And just 1 didnt help, just added to problem)

What the hell is going on..when you closely monitor your employment levels... my employment index was 96.16%.

I had just built a corp, no new one's were in the making. Wasn't looking to build another one,and was only out of HLM. (Was down 4k of them.) Still had, best estimates, prolly 140 to 150k total umemployed personal left total.

Then Blame... I go from 90B income, to about 56B and sinking. I got from nearly 40B profit to -7 ? You got to be kidding me? At least for one month anyway.

But whats worse...I go from having about 86k unemplyed LLW to over 300k. MLW likewise. Another 300k between the two...and the numbers though less, continued down.Must have been well over 375k to 4

Or is it simply,

That HLM play such a key roll in corporations, that a deficit causes immediate cuts in production, therefore hiring...even if you have them both set a 100%.

All right. well 3 million made no difference so i went 5.

Now I'm pissed. And some how, the numbers of Advance Ed dudes is growing in large numbers as well.
I got 500k LLW and 400 MLW workers right now...yet it's showing 300k in each for 100% employment. hehehe
Whatever..ok assholes...it's time to crush the Union beeeotches!

So I'm now going to crush them. I'll just drop Production levels. Less production, means less peeps needed....so these assholes can at least transfer over to the regular unemploymnet list.
I'll drop to 90% for now...see how that effects the thing.

Well these assholes are already effecting production in areas across the board, even deeper then 10%. But an across the board cut should bring down negative list numbers for 100% employment.

I just dont understand why more then half wont just go to freaking work?

It's like your cruising along, and all of a sudden for no reason, all upgrades on corp's just shut off, and you now need staff created for 100% employment when before you had slight surpluses of aviable staff.

Well I aint building crap with the "Available Staff" cause apparently these assholes are working two jobs, until they just get tired of it, in group formation mind ya!

Nope, because you have a shortage of just one (or 2 in your case) type of worker, the corps lay off an equal percentage of ALL worker types. Whats your education index? Also swap some people with other players to get those hi-tech workers ASAP.
The other thing that can screw you up and seems to be happening more often I've noticed is that some CEOs are setting there hiring/production low or automatic and that makes it look like you have shortages you dont really have.

Well might as well add HT Ex on the list too...down 5000 and there's no way to get more but train them.
I took my Ed index down to 100, but have edged it up to 120 again since this stuff happened.

Hmmmm...Well I did a 180 again and lowered production down to 85%. This added numbers to the 100% coloumn, but it did give me advailable staff again in all professions.

So the problem isnt fixed, but at least I can build again if I want to. The rest is Education Priority and the 26 points I have under HT Ex now.

Well thats interesting Crafty, but I think it sucks you get no real Idea something is wrong, till the thing just all of a sudden goes bonkers! Thats lame as hell.

I have the same problem at times, if I leave for a few days and let the countries run themselves. Oh, they run themselves all right, right into the ground...Two thumbs up on the idea of being able to stand up slackers against the wall and shoot 'em, to motivate the rest. I dont mind the shortages, but what I do think is fucked, is you get no warning. I dont know how much it cost, but way way more then a 4000 deficit in HLM should cost. Cause it went from there, to just about every other profession. Only LLW and MLW were exempt.

Now I have it down to a few thousand HT Ex...

Mean while my finacial index went from 125 to 105.
My Finacial rank from 602 to 733. my income from 90 b to 60 B, cash went from nearly 30B a month to -8 a month as high as -12 on over all balance sheet.
And my over all rank from 30 back down to about 54.

Biz index went from 115 to about 100.

Pretty freaking expensive for having no clue there was a problem.

But at Least I understnd it again, and have already returned 2/3 of these assholes back to work.

Emergency appears to be over. Only the Damage remains. Either of two exchanges come through, or a few months education system, and everything will again be in order. Prolly only about 250k total still striking now.
