I hav'nt forgotten when I first started this game, an experienced and long time player managed to give me 20 Trillion as a gift to get me started, I believe he's changed his name to something else now.

I didn't get any aid, my aid package was rejected by the general assembly, but within two or three weeks of starting, as a new player, I'm in the top 50. I even made lots of mistakes along the way, like buying a very expensive defensive military trying to get to rank 3, that ate up all my money, and put me deep into debt. Selling off the defensive arms was a big bonus, and switching to peaceful let me get rank 3 anyway.

Aid isn't the answer, friend, its good management, and making small adjustments, not huge ones. Read the guides, and get some more CEO's in your country.

i needed to conquer a few c3 to build my empire. once that's done then i'll focus on the economy of the countries.

I know aid isnt always the answer Pat, I did'nt ask for it, I was offered it and I took it which I thought was wise at the time, but now I just raid C3 countries all the time now to get much needed money to get my economy going.

bought the big defensive army, and kept it. Hoping to make level 5 before the newbie cash bonuses disappear. ugghh, distance farming 3c's.
