The former Chairwoman told me that when I first asked her about the game, and what she found so enthralling about it. The Protectorate's aims are not much different from that today. Loyalty, honour and friendship. The Protectorate - Directives: 1. No member of The Protectorate shall attack an ally. 2. No member of The Protectorate shall attack another nation without prior approval from the Government. 3. All members of The Protectorate shall remain as active as they can. Today is the beginning of our rennaissance. This federation will be great again. But, to become great, we need active and willing participants to play this game with us. | Friday, July 25, 2008 - 07:21 am I know that I am still NOBODY here but if any alliances are formed with this player, I am out , sorry ZETA My allegiance to the Protectorate remains strong, the CM and Federation have been great to me, I would gladly sacrifice my citizens in honor and defense of it. That said, Slim has no respect for women, has used a word to describe me that is "unbecoming" of an officer, and I'll have nothing to do with him unless the appropriate admission and apology is made right here in this forum. And knowing his arrogance, he would never apologize. I've bitten my pride and my tongue and my pride again, even apologized to a few players, but the sentiment remains strong among some players that his actions are excusable, and I think they aren't. Apology will be accepted and bygones will be bygones, and that's all it has to be AMECHE, do the honorable thing "MR MARINE" and lets bury this hatchet in the name of PEACE.

I told you, I call them as i see them, and at that moment you were acting like what i called you. I will not apologize for pointing out the obvious.  P.S.: All of what you know about me is through others opinions. You know nothing of my service, let alone know me well enough to question it or for that matter, have it come out of your mouth. I, also, admittedly know nothing of you. Let's keep it that way. Your behavior towards me, someone you do not know, can be likened to a child's tantrum. As far as any agreements our fed may reach with The Protectorate, I will defend our treaty and look beyond my thoughts of you and assist the federation as a whole. Others players opinions aren't relevant to what my opinion is of you, if I feel you are a deserter and a coward, that is based upon my assessment of your actions, not how others feel, I have my own my mind to make judment calls, and you have just made a bad one, KB is fun, but boring at the same time, i just might have a round of fun with you. And bring some life to this dying planet. And hey, i'm just a fed member not a leader, yet but I will leave before I allow myself to be aligned with you COWARD, whats to say you won't run with your tail tucked if something really goes down like you did to your old pals. I am sure the FEDERATION will not need my assistance in that assessment. Long Live The Protectorate. Just apologize.

Bottom line, you don't like it, too f&*$in bad. Not my issue, and should not be your concern. It's nice to see people make statements with only half the facts. I can and do complete many sentences on my own, I don't see dizzy posting anywhere in this thread. This is exactly what this world needs, a plot to follow. The ying and yang are in effect. your ego isnt worth bruising, it be all to easy if i wanted to. Ego's won't be the target of my agression, as you will soon find out, I promise, now go cry to your friends about that.

| Friday, July 25, 2008 - 11:15 pm Wendy, I've never found Chris to be offensive to women in the slightest bit. He is offensive to those who ask for it, be it guy or girl. He will hate me for saying it...but he is a teddy bear unless you manage to piss him off, and that actually takes some doing. If you want to participate in an online game you have to have a somewhat thick skinned. Don't be so easily offended. I've never actually spoken to you, but reading your posts, I find you to be an arrogant loud mouth, who speaks before thinking. Thats just my opinion though and you know what they say about those. I'm sure Wild, Ela, Rina, Webby, Jo and all the other women who play this game will agree with my evaluation of Chris. So please, think a bit before you make nasty accusations against friends of ours. Daconia

| Saturday, July 26, 2008 - 03:47 am Wendy, usually members of The Protectorate bring concerns and issues like this to the fed members rather than airing them in the forum. you have decided to take another avenue for your greivances. therefore, i feel it incumbant upon me as an officer in The Protectorate to address the issue here. Wendy, we all have choices and whether we as a fed decide to make alliances, admit new members or make policy it will be within the framework of the fed. you, like all members will have your say and can then decide to stay or leave. since i was the one who invited you to join and have offered advice on other matters i would give this advice. work within the confines of the fed and work to build your country/empire. take leadership in making the fed a better place. as far as Ameche is concerned, i don't know him very well but have observed him to be a competent, seasoned player that brings his own branding to SC. i would hope that we can find ways to work with him and any other player willing to be a part of a collaborative effort to build sim. if you don't concur in this, then you have to make choices that are in your best interest. cordially, Parsifal

And it wasn't just standing up to him, but what he stood for and the comments he made about women. Wendy, you really don't know just how much respect Chris does have for women. If you knew the story it would be you who is apologizing. Zeta, I hope you take care of this. I have spoken to Dubb and I thought she was going to behave after that. | Saturday, July 26, 2008 - 05:00 am Thank you all for weighing in here. First of all, i will apologize to all members of the federation for the way this has spilled onto the wrong thread. I in no way am attacking DEFCONS ability or standing as a player of this game, just the choice of words used by him. An apology would have been nice, and maybe i would've been able to judge for myself that he wasn't so bad after all. After repeating it again however, I can see where this is going to end up.

| Saturday, July 26, 2008 - 06:17 am Wendy, I thank you for raising your concerns. I don't know you, so I cannot make a call on your ability to make a judgement about this. But I do value the opinion of every member of The Protectorate. At the same time, I don't know Defcon all that well. And what I do know comes simply from things I have heard from other people, as well as the few conversations I've held with him. However, that being said, he is very close to a person whom I care a great deal about. And if she has seen fit to trust him, then there has to be something to that. My dealings with both of you to date have been pleasant and uneventful. From what I can see, this is either a misunderstanding or just a clash of personalities. Now, you both have one of two choices; You can sit down, talk to eachother like adults. Or, you can keep on bickering. Either way, this is not the place to do it.
