Security Council Gettting To Work (Aid Packages)

I noticed recently it was brought up that some players find it easier to get aid packages than others. I havent had a vote fail yet but i do not belive it was connections. I merely speak clearly and professionally. I think everyone should vote yes alot more. I personally have voted yes to every vote i have came across whether it was in the security council or the general vote regardless of affiliation(Clam). What does bother me is watching the Security Council Treasure Fund go up and up and up with very few aid packages ever actually put up. What we have like 10 or so players in the security council at one time. I would expect to see alot more put up for votes. Why is it so many players will vote down a aid package? Perhaps they feel they will never get one themselves. Why is it so few aid packages ever put out there. I think it is that neither has a place to look. well occasonaly i vote no bc they are leaders of empires large millitary numbers and or large ammounts cash/loans in their favour but i do like to send out cash bc council has to much cash just sitting their it is almost a pointless system

How about an aid proposal for Red October. When he originally started playing, he made the typical mistake of creating too large of an army and running up an enormous amount of debt ($11T). With my help he has reduced his army and now is actually making a profit, however, the hole he dug hinself is quite large and restricts him from investing in his infrastructure.

Maybe if we can get rid of the general vote the security council might actually be able to pass some proposals!

The system is already corrupt. 2 out of 3 people vote no everytime without thinking.
In the grand scheme of thing 5 trillion is not that big a deal.

and the council has what 400+T and people on it dont think it can spare 5t to countries that realy need the help. we should almost jest scrap it and evenly distribute it havent seen much banning of nuklear weapons

Oh god, I'm just gonna take another hit at the Security Council and this time accompany it with an explicit normative framework. In fact, to adapt it to those concepts and values.
