I don't want monetary assistance. My country's budget has been running steady a surplus for some time. However, every time I check in on my country, debt is maxed out and there's hardly any money available. If the budget is running a surplus, than the country should be making money, yet every time I look, there's no money. I have investigated repeatedly, and haven't been able to explain this. I was wondering if someone could examine my country and tell me where the extra money is disappearing to.

There two key aspects to a country finances.

1)The monthly budget "Profit & Loss - This Month"
This factor withdraws or add cash to the nations cash stockpile.

2)Cash Changes - Year To Date, the cash-flow.
This is the key to way some nations are lacking cash even if they turn a small profit every month. The nation buys supplies from the market, takes and receives cash from state-corps.All this outside the monthly budget.

If you invest in say, 10 hospitals. The cost to first buy em goes to 2) as cash withdrawal.The upkeep goes to 1) as Health Contributions and Cost.

This is fundamental economics. One this to separate cost and expenses (the game does not follow this strictly either adding confusion).

So mr president of "The Republic of Kachtka". You are burning more cash than the country receives. Try to increase monthly profits.
