Oil corps.

For some reason, many of my oil corps are barely breaking even despite the constant shortage. I use reasonable trade strats.

Is anyone else experiencing this result with their oil corps?

On second thought, I did just re-adjust my trade strats. So I'll give it a real day before I say there is a problem, but I am curious if anyone else is having a profit issue with oil right now.

I haven't noticed any significant change in Oil corp profitability recently, averaging around 0.8B-1B.

However most of those I own are Public and use an ASQ strat so cannot reliably confirm that there isn't an issue.

My oil corp is nearly identical except it appears you are being helped by a rock bottom industrial equipment price and we have a different tax policy.

Whats the explanation for the unusual market behaviour in may - june this year? It seems all my FB corps had a drop to losses for a month or two, all sorts of different products.

Dunno, but it was unusual.

Yeah I'm now looking at all my other corps and most products show a loss despite shortages
Grrr.....
