I have a common market and it's selling goods to my corporations AT MARKET PRICE. Sure, it guarantees goods, however, seriously? Market Price?

Secondly, my .eat and Vegetable corporations are ALWAYS posting negative returns, month after month, regardless of prod/Quant upgrades being bought and the price starting at the MAX possible for the market.

So, honestly, there is no point in having a meat/vegetable Corp. Wtf

What's the surprise? I don't get it. Common markets are an advanced feature to be careful with, for sure. I've said multiple times only recently to be careful about joining one, because you lose some needed control over the quality of products that you want to buy for your corporations and your country. However, if corporations are supposed to make money, and if they can't something is not right with your plan.

On your corporations losing money, post the link here so we can see. Sometimes certain types of corporations have problems, and this is a place to discuss it, and shed light on the issue. This has happened, and the GM responded, just in the last few weeks. However, I am unaware of issues with meat and vegetable corps, if the market is strong for those products, and the corporation is well run. Again, pull up those corps and copy the link to them here on the forum so we can see them.

These issues might be related. If you have joined a common market, and you are forcing your corporations to purchase supplies at higher quality than they require, this will cause your corps to become less profitable, and possibly unprofitable.

Yup, that was the problem - buying too high quality of goods. They were buying from my maxed out corps when they themselves were as bottom as could be, being just built.
