~ Many years have passed since Atlantis' King took power via military coup after the failed democratic state collapsed due to corruption & mismanagement.
~ The King declared that Atlantis had fallen into dark times. Poverty, crime, and corruption were rampant. The people were without purpose, lost as if without a compass.

~ Our Glorious King, an Idealist and nationalist, has restored order to our troubled nation! Our Socialist State has ensured the people's needs are beyond exemplary. The Economy is booming, and the military has been given the power and funding it needs to defend the people and project regional power.

~ The King of Volantis has stated that Formax Musica Region lacks proper leadership & direction, and as a result, they will fall behind as Atlantis advances into the future. The King further stated that surrounding states will be annexed in the coming years & placed under the control of the new Imperial Government.
~ The Atlantean Socialist Party has declared that "Napoli Fhrecke" will be the King's new Chancellor after a unanimous vote within the Parliament.
The Chancellor will carry out the bulk of the King's administrative work & legislative work.
~ The Atlantean Socialist Party has declared a Golden Age of Atlantean Imperialism.
~ Critics of King & Volantian Socialist Party, though rapidly dwindling in number, have made their discomfort known to some policies enforced by the government. Some have accused the King of empowering a radical party & assuming too much international debt to finance a growing military industrial complex which at has recently subjected the state to Cash debt preventing the processing of transactions of goods that the people needed.
~ The King stated that Atlantis's safety & security are paramount; investing heavily into fortifying our borders with strong garrisons & militarizing the capital. The King has activated our small offensive forces to form formidable units to secure our borders & project regional power.
~ The Volantian Socialist Party has stated that sanctions levied against Atlantis preventing it from purchasing further offensive armament can not legally last forever & assure the military high command that the sanctions will dissolve along with the Atlantean Central Banks loan debt within the coming months.
~ Critics of the Government suggest recent militarization is due to a plan to invade our nearest neighbors. This recipe for war certainly has the people on edge after the recent economic depression. Some fear war could lead to further turmoil for the Atlantean people.
~ The King has approved of cutting off constitutional legal protections to dissidents participating in anti-state activities at the behest of the Volantian Socialist Party, stating that these are anarchists & terrorists & will be dealt with accordingly.
