Why is my country buying so many of these, like 600B worth. Is there a setting for how I adjust my quality of weapons? Or is there something I'm missing
I had a look at your country and I cant see any active military units but you have garrisons. Perhaps those are being upgraded? Basically the game will automatically buy upgrades if you've set them.
Click wage war link, look for garrison fighting level. In there you'll see if they've been set to upgrade.
Tip for you. There's no need for garrisons whilst your still under new account protection. You've got 2 months before anyone can attack. Those defence weapons are wasting money on maintenance. I'd sell all them and the ammo then buy offence weapons and conquer c3's
I got one garrison going, im using it as a test. I met the quality that was set and yet every month the computer was buying massive amounts of ammo upgrades. I turned it off

If your upgrading things like tank ammo where the ammo requirements are in the millions you burn through upgrades like there’s no tomorrow
My advice wasn’t to deceive you or anything like that, genuinely. Cash is your biggest barrier when starting out, saving as much as you can should be a priority if you want to succeed long term. Your defence is a burden and useless when you can’t be attacked
