Strange goings-on with High Level Workers (White Giant)

I have just logged on to find that each of my 10 countries has exactly 24,000 unemployed High Level Workers, irrespective of how many thousands they had, or didn't have, previously.

Is anyone else experiencing this and, if so, does anyone know what's going on?

Yes Jo, I am having hlw shortages myself

same here, went to lunch , came back and they had all disappeared !!!

I checked a load of countries on GR to swop workers for them and they all had only 24,000 !

I converted 50,000 nurses to HLW then I bought 2M pop and got 28,000 extra HLW by the look of things.

But the graph for "total profession" shows a rise of 180,000 !!!

Getting a bit fed up !LOL

yeah I am short too. I don't know why but I'll just move teachers, etc. to make up for it I guess.

Me too.

I have to say this latest "tweak" is frikkin up my countries, for no reason at all. I already had a hard time staffing 100% and had to tweak things daily - now half my corps are under-employed.

Now, just what did this latest tweak "fix"?

Im in agreement with Emi.
Ever since the tweak, My countries have started to suffer, although I've fixed them for now, My Enterprise is suffering drastically.
I went from profiting over 100B, to losing alot of money per month.

Is it too much to ask for a little warning?

Maybe something along the lines of "Game News: Corporation staffing levels will be increased in 7 days time. Corporations will require x% more workers and will be x% more profitable.

Countries with higher populations and upgraded companies will be affected to a greater degree. For that reason we are increasing the maximum worker conversions to 250,000 for the next 14 days only. Players are advised to build their unemployed workforce to meet increased staffing requirements"

Now that might have been acceptable ...

That would have been nice to get a warning.
I was relocating some corps in my enterprise, and I come to notice everyone still has 24000, and many dont know of the decrease.

Dear they are not ever going to allow us to convert that many workers at one time. It defeats their purpose of making us miserable and scrambling for answers.
