Resolution I200D8112F8E07J2051I: No nuclear facilities for Westmarch (White Giant)

Hi all,

There is currently a proposal under voting on the SC to ban Westmarch from having 'nuclear facilities' - the reason given is as follows:

'Largely unstable region. Neighbours have nuclears, four large empires could be impacted. I believe this measure could prevent unnecessary aggression.'

I have voted against this proposal, for three reasons:

1. I'm not convinced that the region is unstable,
2. I'm not convinced that banning nuclear facilities will prevent unnecessary aggression, and
3. I'm not convinced that this player is less deserving of nuclear facilities than his neighbours.


If anyone has additional info which may convince me otherwise, please enlighten me.

I'am in agreement.

I have not yet voted, for the same reasons, Jaffle. The country in question isn't building or hosting any nuclear corps and does not have any strategic weapons.

I would like some more information before I vote, as to why this country is considered to be aggressive enough to warrant a ban.
