I was able to last time I checked. You can't do it by month because they are not consumed. Set the "low water mark" to the quantity you want to eventually have. Set the "order amount" to the quantity you can afford to spend each month.

Anytime you deploy or lose weapons ordering starts again.

My experience with this has been somewhat different. I have found that the ways to do this are to either find a company that makes them and make an offer directly to them or build your own company and contract the production to yourself. If you do that, check out the supplies you need. I built a nuc sub missile factory that almost went bust because it couldn't get plutonium on the open market. I had to build a plutonium factory to supply it.

Fab are you talking about "strategic weapons"? I am pretty sure Alain was asking about non-strategic weapons especially because he said "i have been able to order ammunion using ordering strategies".

Yes, I was. Looking at Alain's question again, I believe that he was talking about ordering conventional weapons. My bad. Sorry for the confusion and thanks for setting me straight Ravenous.
