Im new to White Giant, and trying to judge the current political atmosphere here.
The figures don't show everything, and Im wondering how other's here view the current climate.

White Giant is pretty peaceful and a good place to be if your goals are levelling, building a strong and secure empire and / or economy 
There is a fair amount of raiding of inactives ... how inactive they really are is determined by the policy of the raider. There have been no fed wars for a couple of RL years, and only a few PvP wars, which are easily avoided if you make an effort to get along with people.
If you are looking for a peaceful and supportive fed, you might like to apply to join WGC, but be warned that the fed rules do not allow for antagonising or attacking other players without clear jusfication.

There is a small caveat to the fed rules about antagonizing other players... if you're in WGC, you get to antagonize Jo regularly ;)
