Well, it's down to 12.3B now. At 462/unit that's about 6T in cash. A bit expensive but doable.

If I was to guess it was the inventory of the former CEO "Big Brother" that hit the market.

It's just a guess

It's my opinion that Simcountry is creating this oil dump situation.

Why?

Can anyone explain why it's happening at the same time on FB world and WG world?

Seems fishy to me......

There is a glut of oil on KB as well. Of course, there is usually a glut of everything on KB, but this has been going on for quite a while with oil.

I have to confess this thought crossed my head as well. But I doubt that is case.

This first started on KB long before it started anywhere else. As I can recall, the surplus was of 30-40 million barrels. After sometime, I decided to buy the 18M surplus and some more. The mistake was some more. I drove the market into a shortage of 70M barrels. This monumental shortage cannot be ignored by the game, so in a span of four game months, there were 400 more oil corps in the market, which... well... keep pumping oil into a market surplus. Eventually, they will all close, if no one has the bright idea to buy more oil, and he'll enter into a new prosperous era of oil. :)

That I noticed, no one bought oil on LU and they are back into the red.

If someone here as any interest in the liberalism of the early XX's and on the keynesianism of the 70's, he will be able to draw amusing parallels. For instance, one of the factors that indirectly contributed to the Great Depression was the lack of governmental action. In this case, that same inaction is what will save the market.

Anyway, the gist of it is: don't buy oil.
