Peace Agreement to end WW2 (White Giant)

Agreement is as follows:

1. Peace for a minimum of 100 game months
2. For both sides the forums are to remain civil with no complaining about the war from either side
3. The attackers (EC, Orbiter, Brutus, and BrokenAmbition) agree to move any and all countries that were recently built near SNAPP countries. This includes the countries past known as Charity and Courage

If I have correctly stated the terms, I ask EC, Orbiter, Brutus, and BrokenAmbiton to post here confirming this.

umm, we didn't say that, those countries in fact do not fit the bill of "recently built," and where not mentioned. its is clear they are being stripped, and you previously were demanding that they be dereged or returned. by throwing them into the "recently built" countries, you are twisting our words, and leveraging demands that we've already rejected

Guys...this sounds like a done deal, let's not get weighed down by small things. Strip/move Charity and Courage, I'm sure that was the plan anyway.

I believe this is in fact a very reasonable peace treaty and will ultimately lead to a better WG than the alternative of more and bigger wars.

Orbiter, I did not say they needed to be returned in the agreement. You can strip and dereg. I assumed that your offer included you leaving the area. Any of your countries remaining in the area would be different from how the offer read to me.

My assumption is that if you reject this now that you were never negotiating in good faith and just trying to get our guard down. This reads exactly as I understood your offer.

This is they always do, while you negotiate they are just buying time and reloading for round 2.

I didn't think it possible for them to have dropped down a level in honor; but sending a proposal, having it agreed to, and then rejecting what they sent would be dropping down a level in my book.

Josias, of course you can take time to strip those countries; I have no objection if you even take a full real-life week. Provided you agree to not move in any additiona military into those countries, and simply strip and move them.

I did not save them with the intent to badmouth him. I've taken several jabs that were unneccessary.

If the members of SNAPP who are uninvolved in this war get attacked by you it is YOUR responsibility, not anyone else's. Don't use Chrysostom's actions as an excuse for raiding players who aren't involved. No one is forcing you to attack them.

During WW2, the Nazis dealt with the Dutch resistance by a very simple tactic. Every time the resistance took action against the Nazis, the Nazis selected some civilians and executed them.

I'm sure the GMs, and the player community will appreciate your way of dealing with the leaders of SNAPP in a similar manner.

Dear EC, you have now broken your word. You said no one in SNAPP who did NOT help me would be attacked. Now, players who did not help me and did not say anything, you say you will attack.

What is the moral of the story? Don't trust what EC says. He attacks those who help him (like me and WGC), whose who do nothing to hurt him (like people in SNAPP who didn't lift a finger), and so what do you lose if you stand up to him. Nothing.

Then he blames me for that fact that HE attacked me and SNAPP. Who's fault was it, EC, that you attacked WGC?

Cute, so far Jo, all countries involved from SNAPP were their initial declares, not ours. Also, Last i saw, You aren't a GM, so, perhaps you should speak for yourself, not the GM's, as you cant and shouldnt speak for them, Your way of dealing with WG matters, ended in a failure of your fed, as you don't communicate with anyone, from them, so dont try to correct SNAPPS Wars, since we only initially targeted chryso not the fed itself, but his lip ran itself into the position we're in currently, so as your personal concerns, i'll happily take them in messages, or MSN, but as for you speaking for the " player community" and the GM's...leave your OWN comments applied to YOURSELF. dont apply them to everyone on SC..

EC, I was born in an afternoon, but not yesterday afternoon.

chrysostom, I've a lot of experience dealing with this group, and its' allies.

If they are asking for peace, they are short somewhere and need time to compensate, don't fall for it.

If you get an advantage, exploit it fully until they give in. If not, you give them room to rebuild and replenish.

EC, is just a puppet now. In order to raise his reputation, your fed is now the stage to complete his transformation from player to asshat. Complaining to the high heavens about things then turining around and doing them is awkward, or at least should be for EC.

You should know they will say and do anything their actions speak for themselves. The community is watching and have already made its conclusion. Now you just have to wait for it to act.

Let me say something please.

You keep saying that you attacked Chrys and not SNAPP, I assume you are saying this to show the war is not your fault.

But what's the point in being in a Federation if they will not defend you?

In SNAPP we will help defend our members, win or loose, isn't that what a Federation is supposed to do? We do not just throw our members to the wolves because we do not want war. We were not prepared at all and none of us except for Chrys had any experience in war. I'm supposed to be Minister of Defense, but I don't have a clue what I am doing

EC, was it you who attacked six of our countries with NUKES? When my guys asked if they could use nukes, I said no. I may not know what I am doing, but anyone can push the nuke button, and we have plenty of them.

LOL, I'd rather lose with you guys than win with those guys. If you don't have any experience in sim-war and still counter-decced on the moblets in support of your fedmate, that shows heart, and all you're lacking now is knowledge, and experience, and maybe skill, and probably a lot of interceptors and helis, and I suppose some DMBs and AAMBs, assuming you're already loaded with MIBs, and quite frankly a whole lot of other stuff.

No matter, it's just a game, play it how you think it should be played and enjoy it whatever happens.

actually it was me that nuked

i had taken the 2 countries that were remotely in range for ground, i had to do a double airlift to get to them

after that, i figured each of the players that dec'd me, and were out of range, could take a nuke each. in your case ahmose, you got 2. not because you were special, but because it was easy

The Resolution was a proposal by chrysostom with the following motivation:
This is his secure main, so it will not impact the war. I ask for this vote as a Security Council vote to ask EC to remove War Protection from his countries and fight fair, or to stop fighting. A vote yes, is a vote to make a statement that hiding his empire in war protection while attacking is not appropriate. Please vote yes, and insist on a fair fight.

The Security Counil accepted the proposal.
7 council members voted for the proposal and 0 council members voted against it.
You are a member of the Security Council and voted for the proposal.
