I want to preface this by saying I am leaving WGC fed. They are a great bunch of people but I am putting myself in a position where I will no longer have any need to be in a fed. I am cutting back to mostly just playing the CEO game with just my secured main and possibly some small ragtag countries as an "empire". I have placed my "Old Empire" in war protection and I am stripping everything. I am and will remain on good terms with everybody in WGC but I am just going to play as an independent for now. Im sorry to WGC that I didn't give you notice but there are a couple other things I wanted to say in public that go along with this.

I am writing primarily to encourage anyone who has been getting their assets grabbed, empires destroyed, etc.

Besides the big war there are still other peaceful players having their countries taken by warloads and petty warloards. One person I know of who has played for years and never bothered anyone is down to only his secured main I think and I didn't even know about it because he didn't mention it.

We (I) know who the big name warlords are in this game but some names have come up lately that I was not familiar with, broken ambition and lalabear. If you are attacked by warlord types please put a post their names here so everyone knows who they should be looking out for.

Please everybody, don't just get discouraged and leave the game. War is a planned part of this game and is going remain so. That said, you can continue playing and avoid the war game. Everybody can have 2 CEO's and a secured main on a planet. CEO corps can do ok in C3's, they don't have to be in low tax countries. Some players build empires gradually with everything in war protection and that works for them. Stay in the game, work it out. White Giant is kind of a hellhole for econ players right now but that may change.

This is just a thought but all of you who are primarily "econ" players and are going to continue defending empires might want to start thinking of banding together regardless of your current fed affiliation or differences with other players.

Good Luck to All,
Joe Green

Also,

Sorry to everyone who has to move CEO corps out of my countries because I'm stripping ... I too have been moving a ton of corps and it's not fun.

Sorry Wendy of I got that wrong, but that name came up as someone who grabbed countries at some point and I wasn't familiar with it.

I recently, ook over one of Frank Stone's countries. I assumed he was inactive, but he gave me a really nasty message, if it weren't for that I wouldn't have followed through.

I think the confusion came when EC tried to declare war on the same country behind me, and it appeared as if I were one of them. He sucked and never had a chance at conquering it. And for that EC... "We" thank you!
