The Kingdom of Brutili is looking for aid from the security council in WG. His Majesty, Emperor Brutus, ask for this one time aid. Will the security council in WG step in and aid the Kingdom?

There is a lot of money just sitting there. There has to be something to do with it other than just give it out. Maybe it should be treated like an investment fund where anyone can buy shares of it and receive dividends? Or, just in the interim, give ever nation, or even every president a cut of it.

That's not going to happen. Might as well give it out to new players.

It would be disturbing if Navamin was on the Security Council.

I still don't see why this guy who started the thread can't get aid.

Ha, thanks Honey. I would vote in favour of aid...but I'm thinking of longer term solutions.

Just keep on insisting. It really isn't hard to get a proposal to be accepted, once a few pass.

A method used by some, is with the use of massive CEOs send messages via the "communicate with Presidents where corporations are located" function. It will be a quite good spread with low amount of input (good return).

I would vote yes and many others might as well if we had some sort of assurance the cash isn't just sucked up into the quagmire that was created. This country needs more than cash to survive.

I completely disagree. The whole giving out money to "People who need it" is pretty screwed up. I have seen countries with presidents who clearly know how to play get themselves into a mountain of debt, then get a ton of cash for no reason. They obviously have no control over their spending and should be on their own. Now giving money to a country who really deserves it Im all in favor for. The Security Council should be giving money to countries who got the short end of the stick, for ex. fallout from a nuclear war between the big empires duking it out, or a CEO who owned most of the corps in a country then moved them all for some reason while that countries economy crumbled, etc. Those countries are the ones who deserve it. Not experienced players who got themselves into debt on their own accord.

Even if that is the case, it seems like this falls into one of those situations that the end justify the means. I believe more people will take it seriously and try to learn if its easier for them to recover from mistakes. Remember, no one likes asking for help.

Tossing money at the problem is often a waist and exploitable as discussed. The Security Council is not giving away money, Frank. Rather check the simchurch thread and others on the beginners forum to stear yourself out of dept.

The Security Council has primary responsibility, under the Charter, for the maintenance of international peace and security.

Councilor Synicus
