Okay. Let me ask you guys something, and be honest. How much of your funding did you blow on military? Just answer honestly. Don't worry, it's a mistake that every newbie makes. Even I did when I first started.

Well, there is one reason you are in debt. Armies are expensive, both to buy and to maintain. Your countries are in secured mode; what do you need an army for? When I started my own country, I deactivated all my weapons, and only left two Long Range Divisions in case I wanted to invade another country.

yeah, i just use my armies for invasion...and...of course defense

Yes, at first it was to bring my defence avg to 60 so i could get lvl 3 and build better corparations! after that i made a huge build up of offense so i could invade and start an empire.. after i did that i finally figured out how to balance my budget, de-activated weapons i dont need! BOTTOMLINE is that my money situation is getting better but its gonna be a while before i have cash on me! meanwhile i also have a neighbour with a army much larger then myne so its not a good idea for me to deactivate too much! i dont need lectures or "i told you so's"... can someone in the security council please vouch for me and help me out?

Russianruk, go to your country page, click on "Indexes", and where it says "Judge my empire as being", select "Peaceful" and click "change requirements". Problem solved. Army no longer necessary to advance game levels.

And remember, you are in secured mode. That powerful country next to yours cannot attack you. Period. This is why you don't need an army.

Yes thank you i know that! i dont want to play peacefull game so if your not offering aid im not up for any lectures please.. i figured out my game plan i just want some help since it IS avaliable!

Russianruk.... there are a few misunderstanding concepts.


1 - Empire: Having an empire does NOT states you don't play peaceful. Peaceful and non peaceful countries ARE empires.

2 - You DON'T need to worry about any other president not until you are in - at least - War Level 3, and your country/countries are not on secured mode/war protection.
Since this is NOT your case, forget about other countries army as they DO NOT affect and will NOT you at all.

Increasing your Defense index doesn't means you need to buy Defensive weapons. Based on the reasons I mentioned in point 2, sell absolutely ALL your defensive weapons.
