Chemicals and household products always seem to be in short supply

We do...that is where the profits are. But, every time a new corporation is built it creates more of a shortfall in other materials needed to produce that item. Those items you listed are constantly in short supply, but you should still be able to get enough.

I'm put on backorder for 3 months. I order quantities ahead so I can supply my corps for 3 months until they can get their orders in.

Point is, that the backorders shouldn't be that long. Precision bombs take around 9 months of backorder.

Then again, you have a point.

You should just fill your Strategic Stock with plenty of Chemicals (Hundred Million Tons) so you can keep supplying ambivalently whenever necessary, spares you the "once every year order" annoyance. Repeat the above with the other products and resources in shortage.

joining a CM helps alot so you dont have to manualy supply corps all the time but you should still have a strategic stock because when the CM fails its good to have a quick fix

I got a bunch of things going.

Contracts, common market, and I contracted my chem corps to my other corps.

Lets' hope it works.

Plus my "ACME Precision Anvil" corporation is growing your stockpile.

At 50 per month, it's a slow growth.
