Global depression unlike anything we've seen before inspired millions to leave their homes and begin a long, dangerous journey across borders and continents. It's a phenomenon that social anthropologists have been scrambling to keep track of. But what's left them scratching their heads is not the reasons for the movement of people. Instead their faced with a seemingly unsolvable puzzle: where did all the people go?
"It's like they vanished off the face of the earth," said Nosein Bok, professor at Imperial University. "I watched them myself. Thousands of people heading to the border, never to be heard from again."

Combined with massive global catasrophe, recession, and earthquakes--the Grand Poobah said "the faithful have been spared." In addition, he indicated new age of prosperity and copious population compensation by the supernatural arbiters of our world are forthcoming.
Is this a sign that we are heading to even better days, or will this announcement by the Grand Poobah simply be a fantasy? More on this as the story develops.

not sure why but i didn't suffer from that. i do'nt think my population dropped, i didn't lose any corps, in spite of no production my profit never drastically dropped(which makes absolutely no sense to me) and I never lost cash.
