Has anyone else noticed the problems with the Electric Power market on WG?

Demand seems to keep climbing up, then suddenly halves. It's been doing this for a few weeks now.

Currently, the price for Electric Power is lower than that for Nuclear Power, which has inverted the previous bonus for generating Nuclear Power.

I noticed that happening with a few products but not as drastic.

Does the GM put the stock from abandon countries on the market?
A large country near me was just turned into a C3.

Not always sure on market situations but yes if a country has supplies and is turned over to C3 the supplies dumps onto the market, creating a surplus. Though not always the case, sometimes is GM intervention.

December 3879, supply spiked by 1 billion units. That's way too much to be from even a few countries being abandoned.

If I had a 10 country empire which were all as populous as my main with a similar stockpile in each, that would only dump 5,000,000 onto the market.

I've seen single players dump a considerable amount of product on the market at once.

It happens now and then. Not abnormal. I don't think the GM intervenes in this case unless their is a pending global economic crisis.

Here is a graph for rice supply on FB. It may not be quite on the scale of the electric power dump your talking about but it is an example. I had a bunch of rice that I had been sitting on... Don't ask why lol just had rice.. but you can see the large jumps in supply when I made three dumps on the market. I am sure other larger players out there could make a much larger impact than this. Only a very small example.

Well I think we're heading towards an economic crisis. Seen some enterprises enter into huge debts and those are still in the TOP 50s.

Could the disappearance of over 120 gamemaster corps in the last 10 game years have anything to do with it?

It's frustrating having to adjust your production every other day.

There Will Be Economic Crises Untill We have Enough Corporations To provide Materials. Strong Economy Means Less Price and more quantity.
