This game has much potential.. I know there are a few Players who play daily but i want to talk to you all and do business together. Interaction is needed and my country just touched 10T assets. I need to double this in the next few days so i need trade partners..

On a side note..

Enterprise loans?? why if my cash is positive does the game keep making my enterprise take out loans??? I cant even purchase shares because it automatically takes out loans when im well above the cash i need to keep on hand.. I think there should be an option to stop receiving loans.. I just want to buy shares again but i cant :c

Anyways

Country " New merica a "
enterprise " New Merica asset MGMT "

If you play on two worlds you can spend countless time buying and selling between the worlds to exploit price differences. You can use space shuttles to move most products and direct trade from main screen for a few select products.

Wow John Can you Share more on how that works exactly? If there is a link to this and i haven't seen it yet please share.

I am currently Building on FB
I have 1 Enterprise and 1 Country ATM There.
I am mostly interested in running enterprises the only reason i hold onto a country is for the natural resource corporations that i usually end up IPO'ing and buying up with the enterprise.

Cam just open a country or CEO on a different world. Then build space centers in both worlds. Purchase some space shuttles in the world market. Then you can transfer goods between the worlds via space shuttle. All of this can be done through the space screen.

I really enjoy the game, but this constant drop in HTE's and High Tech Executives is getting....well, "old".

Is there a way to have Corporations (Fruits/Vegetables/Mining- essentially, "Labor" companies) change to limit or even not need Engineers in general? Since when does a company need 19,000+ Engineers to harvest Fruit and Vegetables?

I would like to see some where I can put people to work while Engineers are educated and trained. I am on White Giant, but I'm sure this would be useful on other worlds as well.

Thanks!
Robert

Robert,

Yeah, the game is really keen to make sure we don't have 'too many' unemployed High Tech Engineers, by forcing them to become low level workers, at the first sign of unemployment.

The solution that works for me. Is to make sure, I am always over-training High Tech Engineers. That way, when the game demotes too many of them, new ones graduate very quickly.

Make sure you have a high education index, and a high priority, for High Tech Engineers. That way you should be able to train them quickly enough, to prevent regular shortages.

Robert

Thank you, Daniel. I know we should only have a "Maximum" of 120 for Education Setting and I have the High Tech Engineers, High Tech Sr.'s and High Tech Exec's at 21-28 settings, the highest of all. For some reason, Teachers, Low Level Workers seem to be the most significant Graduates no matter how low I set them. With a setting of 28, High Tech Execs never exceed 300 and the most I can get out of High Tech Engineers each month is about 10,000.

Another problem I am noticing is that one month I have, say 50,000 High Tech Engineers and then the next I am at 3,500 even though I did nothing to cause a change. This is insane! There is no consistantancy or pattern to what happens. It's getting frustrating and discouraging.

Robert,

What is the name of your country, and the world on which it is based?
With that information, I'll be able to take a look, and see what is happening.

Things in Simcountry, almost always have a pattern/cause/reason. Although, it can be very hard to figure out what that cause is. Unless you know all the little quirks of the system.

Without seeing your country, my first guess would be, that your education index might be low. Some players need Education Indexes as high as 200, to get all the educated people they need. I manage with 170, but that is because my country is well educated, and stable.

Robert,

Ok, I had a look, and found the problem.

Your education Index is too low.
Basically, you need more Schools, Highshools, and Universities.
Your current Education Index is 114, you need it somewhere between 170-200.

The Education Index is determined by the lowest of Primary School, High School, and University Education Indexes.
Each of those are determined, by taking your number of schools, divided by 'needed', times 100.

For example, if you 'need' 10,000 Elementary Schools, and have 20,000, your Elementary School Index is 200.
But if you 'need' 10,000 and only have 12,000 then your Elementary school Index is 120.

Aim to get all three, Elementary Schools, High Schools, and Universities, to x2 the 'needed' number. So if it says you need 10,000, you really need 20,000.

Once you do that, you'll have more than enough graduates, to fill all your jobs.

Robert

Daniel- a quick thank you for the advice on the Education settings. I "assumed" having a few over the recommended was enough. Looks like things are stabilizing after I doubled the number of Schools and Universities- hope this keeps everything normal.

Wondering now if they will add more Corporation options for employment. There are hardly any that are profitable to maintain. Do you have any input with the Game Master?

Robert,

The markets have been volatile lately, so it's difficult to say which products will end up being the most profitable.

It's mostly a matter of having a wide variety of decent products. That way, it doesn't matter if some of them struggle. Because you'll come out ahead, overall.

By design, in comparable conditions (shortage/over supply)
High tech products have an advantage.

You need more highly educated workers and it requires a higher game level.

horv,
There's a lot to take in. The docs pages have a ton of info but it can be difficult to find what you're looking for.
If you have a question post it on the forum with your world and country name and someone will answer.

So I have Rebellions starting in two of my countries (aka: "Slaves", although I do not have them set up as such). The Documents Section implies I should sell or simply let these countries go because "Large Empires" are not efficient. I am enjoying the Large Empire and making money for the people.

Is there any other way that I can stop the growing and eliminate Rebellions?

Thanks in advance.

How large is your empire? Are you sure that rebels are occuring because of the size of empire?

Robert

Saturday, May 9, 2020 - 08:50 pm Click here to edit this post
I have 12 countries. I looked through the documents and it says if an Empire exceeds 8 Countries, Rebellions are likely to occur because too many countries become 'hard to manage'. Comical, really- I'm retired and have more time than sense to manage a simple game like this. :)

Not sure why else Rebellions would be caused. Education, Healthcare, Welfare and Employment are high.

I'm on White Giant. My Main is "Maricopa"- countries suffering Rebellions are "Alpine" and "Yukon".

The limit of countries per empire is 10, if this causes you a problem you can reduce number of countries to 10, or move large part of corporations to ceo account.

High welfare only partially stops rebellion.

Rebellion rate/chance mainly depends on number of state and national corporations in a country.

Robert

Thanks for the tip- where do you know this from, by chance? Number of State and National being the cause? One would thing the Police or even the Defensive forces of a country could put down such a rebellion- more realistic.

Any way they can change that to be more realistic? Do the Game keepers take requests/suggestions?

Another question- if I deploy "Garrisons" to Factories, will that defend them against Rebells?

Information about rebellions are in the documentation. Garrisons do not defend against rebellions unfortunately.

More state or national corporations you have in your country more likely that they will be attacked

I'm also just starting back up after a long break. On WG, though. Really, I think it would be nice if they compressed some of the worlds to concentrate the population. Is there not much going on in WG? I figured it might have less activity, but the game did advertise it as the busiest.

I think it also depends how you define "busy." What sort of "busy" are you looking for?

WG does have many player controlled countries.
