After careful consideration I haven't decided to pursue a path to peace with the WGA and have dramatically reduced my weapons arsenal!

Lee, it is great to hear that you view peace as the proper path forward. At this time we will me maintaining all of our defenses at the ready. We are also ready for this to come to an end, being constantly prepared for an eminent war is very taxing, and distracts from our mission to assist the growth of younger empires.

Please reach out to our leader, Union States King, directly to negotiate a true peace deal, until negotiations are held and agreed to we will remain vigilant of your actions.

Since the beginning of this you have antagonized the WGA both verbally on the forums and in your actions by placing countries within shooting range of our members. We have been on hot alert since you started your mission to gain WL3 and become eligible for PVP warfare. We will remain on alert and ready for war until the time that a deal is reached, we will hold off on any further economic actions against you during negotiations.

As the representative of citizens within range of the King, I am concerned about the double-speak King Lee has used in this announcement. On the one hand he claims to be reducing his military, but on the other he proclaims, and I quote, "I haven't decided to pursue a path to peace".

As he has proven that he is a rogue character, I am concerned that he may be trying to convince the world community that the zebra has changed his stripes, and if he has I suspect that is is from black and white, to white and black.

I humbly request that the offer of protection provided by the WGA to leaders who reach WL3, not be afforded to the King, based on his past actions on the world stage. If the WGA chooses to forgive his egregious transgressions in a noble attempt to maintain world peace, know that there are others within range of his empire who must protect their citizens from any threats to their security and well being.

Ah, a word to the illustrious WGA, who need no advise from me.

Remember that trust is an admirable thing in a personal relationship, but trust without verification is an imprudent action in international relations.

While only the WGA can establish their foreign policy, perhaps to ease the tension in the world the King should open his secrecy settings so the WGA and the entire world can be assured that his word is true, and his weapons stash is no longer a threat to world peace.

We thank Lee for switching his attitude towards peace, the last proposal we offered has been rejected, we are leaving the offer available for one month.

In this proposal we requested the removal of his hostile placed countries of DRC, Japanese empire, and KawaZulu. We have a member willing to purchase one of the said countries to reduce his losses at what we feel to be a fair price. With the removal of the above states we will consider the matter complete and will remove him from the black list, allowing others to interact with Lee without fear of being considered an ally of Lee and therefore an enemy of the WGA.

We are hopeful Lee will come to accept the terms of peace or at minimum continue negotiations resulting in a deal that is acceptable to all parties affected. Lee is welcome and encouraged to propose counter offer and continue negotiations.

How did this attempt at peace work out for everyone?

Hmm if I remember correctly it didn't work out very well.

It seems to have worked excellent to me, there has been no wars with Lee and no need for the WGA to spend any money buying junk countries. I'd say this attempt for peace treated the WGA splendidly.
