It should not be a matter of surprise as to why the UDL got involved.
Before stating this, I would like to retariate that UDL does not run on the will of a particular member.
It's a Democratic Fed, and we regularly have debates regarding the situations and the ideas which suits best for our collective good.


Now, I would say that the UDL was unfortunately dragged into this mess when His Majesty Matthew I put two of his Dominions with in striking distance of our member A.U's territory. ( A self contradictory move on the part of a WGA member)
We made a humble request and we have a forum post for the same.
The reason we were given was that the states were there for deterrence against Lee and to support Amalie on times of hostilities, the reply also mentioned that there were no need of negotiations or discussions with our fed, on this matter,because some members of WGA feels that it's n

The UDL can make "humble requests" all it wants, but it doesn't own any continent or planet. I'm not interested in it's opinion on how I play simcountry or run my account. I currently share zero borders with anyone in the UDL.

David's FIRST slave state was placed next to my main on LU, and he's only continued to place his holdings near my friends and cause problems. He built on Lacerta on White Giant RIGHT NEXT TO Amalie, a WGA board member. How many times has there had to have been negotiation between David and WGA regarding this? It's been CONSTANT. This is why there are problems at all. If he hadn't done this, we likely would not be having this conversation, so don't try to blame others for this.

Finally, the UDL currently looks to be 3-4 actual players (several of which have MANY accounts). I'm not sure why there is a sense there that the UDL has the right to make demands at all any

I think you are a bit misinformed. Amalie and David had a pact signed in between them at a personal level. And the pact is still successful.
You know why it didn't make any noise and why it went through easily? Because both of them respected their existance and yeh deal was done.
These is what we call players of character. They inspire us.
I respect you as a Player Sir EO, but I think we both should learn from them.

Yes, we may be a small fed, as you say, but we have learned to treat every fed as equal be it bigger or smaller than us. In our fed no one is looked down upon or made fun because of their personal views, how much bizarre it may be. Any Fed is built with time, effort, and creativeness of members, we must respect that.

If someone named Biff randomly walks up to you that you've never met and starts making "requests" of you, do you just suddenly do what they want? No. This is basically what you feel like right now to me.

Angolan Nation is a "suitable distance" from our countries? Not at all. It is WELL within striking range. "Striking range" is when a country is within distance to shoot weapons at the other party involved. 6 nations away is a completely arbitrary number that has no actual military value. I have no clue why you brought that number up. 12 nations away is equally good as 6. Air and missile range is more than twice the distance than David is from us. His nation is just as much within striking range as any of ours. "Striking distance" has
