I have started a new poll in the voting section to add a crime rate index to countries. Please vote yes.

Thank you,

What purpose would that serve in the game?

Make it more realistic and give more information about a country.

I agree, we should make the game more realistic.

Andy, remove war protection.

I'm all for realism in the game but I don't think crime rates will do much.
I'd like to see more info on empires. Perhaps a new energy resource for Natural Resources.

This game is not realistic to begin with but a simulation on itself. Therefore there is no added value imo. Resources are better spent on improvements on the current game/playability.

Lee if we add crime rate, your people will imprison you and your account. You're a criminal. You really haven't thought this through, have you? :P

Additionally, don't you think you should familiarize yourself with the current game before making suggestions? Repeated low war level failures don't indicate you have a firm grasp on the game itself, and so any recommendations you make also are a bit questionable.

*wah shield on*

All players on one planet. Sacrifice space travel for more player interaction and make temp war protection possible only when a player is offline.

Maybe have one other planet with full war protection option for those draft dodging peace freaks.

The game was set up with asset protection being too high a priority imo.

Fewer countries? I would love to play on a world where almost every country is occupied by a president/king/wicked witch but we don't have the numbers for that given the size of the planets.

Asset accumulation is easy, so there is no reason for pvp. There is literally not a single reason I can think for going to war with another player. (and I mean actual war, not top heavy feds calling for small albeit annoying players to level up so they can gank them).

Quick comments re: Weyland's comments, which I agree with.

The game actually was set up fine ORIGINALLY. It was adjusted via loud player feedback to include war levels and secured mode. War levels didn't exist when I first played. This was an 'online war game,' but now it's largely evolved to "play by yourself and look at numbers and don't talk to anyone" game. When I started, a major objective of the game largely was to build enough military to not die. Wars used to be regular, normal, and accepted as part of the game.

Over time, players who literally did nothing to protect their assets lost assets and cried enough about it. No federation, no defensive weapons, and 100t in cash and you think you're safe? No.

As a gamemaster, I imagine it'd be hard to determine if the issue was the rules or just that certain loud players were incompetent, and players pay for the game. Sadly, I think the opinions of just a few loud (but not particular good) players were used to help design current state. I won't comment much on your reasons for fighting or not, as reasons to fight or not are generally personal. Many players used to simply enjoy playing the war engine against others instead of a computer that doesn't shoot back. CC "The Three Musketeers."

I agree with most of what you've said though. I would prefer one war optional world and one entirely peaceful world, but hey I think quite a few models would be an upgrade on current state. A challenge is what to do with corporations etc on worlds that are being removed. How does a KB CEO get its corps moved to WG for example?

Sadly, I highly doubt a retraction of worlds is in order, but I completely agree it would increase interaction, which is a current challenge. That's part of why I keep asking for improvements in federations functions and perks. Being in one generally FORCES interaction and removes solo play.

I been trying to keep a low profile these days on this game and trying to still figure some aspects of the game out, but im finding it kinda boring without other players interactions even though me and my fed mates have great communication and fun talking to each other, but I still like interaction with other players as well on topics like worldly issues without always taking about war and destroying each other lol I do think that this game has way to many worlds and counties and a very small amount of active players. Combining worlds would be hella fun and very active.

Well put Belcher it would be nice to have more open communication between players. I would also like the GM to allow players to have multiple accounts as long as there on different worlds. Politics are crazy now, and as a conservative I would hate to rattle some liberals brain with open dialog. Well there is always hope.

Thanks Rob and as a liberal minded person like myself am very open to open dialogues. Looking forward to talking and communications between our countries.
