I just hit war level 2, apparently next C3 I hit will take me to war level 3 and add me into the war game.

I have no ambition to play the war game. Heck most of the world is run by the computer I'll be attacking them. And living peacefully with all the human run countries.

You might consider joining a federation. I joined up with WGA. A truly aggressive war player would prefer attacking someone who is more uninterested , and unprepared, for the war game.

My own policy is to be very prepared for the war game before reaching war level 3. I have already invested heavily into the military on this new account towards that goal.

WGA can help with advice and guidance as well, many experienced players in both economic and war

Just how often are there PvP wars are there on WG?

just once in a while

Wars on WG have a tendency to escalate to the nuclear kind tho. Its been nice and peaceful for generations now tho.
