why was there a nuke ban?

A player named Amalie initiated it because of Lee's war on Mike C.

Which, for roleplay reasons, sure. But I for one don't think that war should be discouraged. Especially as the only person who should really matter, Mike C, hasn't talked about it at all. Mike C also won, taking over at least two of Lee's countries.

Lee tried an offensive war and it failed. More players should try what he did, war is what makes the game fun. The shame isn't that the war happened, the shame is that Lee couldn't/forgot to log in on time to actually fight. Double kudos to Mike C for being chill about it, because some people would've been very not chill with it.

I'm not sure how many people Lee's nuked, but millions of heretics were cleansed with holy nuclear Armageddon during the Crusades. It keeps the game fresh.

There are currently, and unfortunately, no other Federations on WG except the White Giant Alliance focus on war whatsoever. Maybe you can help change that whenever you go to WL3

i think i started playing in approx 2002 or so and played for most of 10years. got busy, had kids, got poor. life is better and easier now.

We in the Union of Allied States try an focus on a wide range of issues. War is fun in the game, keeps it interesting. Alot of players don't like war it seems tho. I guess they don't want their countries taken from them lol. We should try an think of some other things to engage with each other in. I like how the WG news stuff is starting to pop up. That's one way of spicing things up a bit lol.

In regards to the SC resolution regarding untied aid to The Aristocracy of Naseer, we feel that is our duty to vote against the 2 Trillion requested. While the SC has plenty of funds available, an inspection of non-classified conditions in The Aristocracy of Naseer do not paint a promising picture that the funds will actually assist the people of the nation. In its 257 year history, orionblack302 appears to have put the needs of his citizens far behind the needs of his arms production, to the point citizens are very actively migrating out of the country and its business welfare index concludes poor working conditions have endured for some time. Without having waged war directly, orionblack appears to be providing arms for unknown entities at the cost of his own citizens. For these reasons we cannot in good conscious support international funding for Naseer.

I don't like war, but I really enjoy the ceo game. It's fun for me to dominate the production and supply of certain resources and trade goods (coal, gas, oil, plutonium, bread, furniture, aircraft carriers, cars, building materials, vacation, etc). If I wanted to, I could throw the market for something into chaos, like that time I dumped 50k plutonium onto the market and caused over 50% of plutonium corps to close within a day.

i dont mind war. it will take some time to get into a position where i can successfully war but it will come

In response to the "Independent Source" on the topic of the 2T untied aid to The Aristocracy. I can firmly attest that the country named above is not in the arms business whatsoever. I brought it to the SC for untied aid for this nation, as it has been on a rocky economic road for the past few years. I'm not sure where this misinformation comes from at this time. I fully endorse the Aristocracy as they are a full and respected member of "The Union of Allied States" alliance. In this alliance, which The URA is chairman of, does not allow, although each member state is fully independent, the sale of weapons to states weather they be offensive or a defensive nature. The funds requested would definitely do some good for the country in question as anything to get them out of debt an in a positive standing financially which is all any state would aspire to have. An as per, news reference 12, there absolutely NO BRAWL in this courts body. I believe the information written in said article is highly misleading with false information on who the actual sitting judges are. The biggest misinformation is the so-called "Brawl" within the court. THERE WAS NO BRAWL between members of the court. The 2 nations listed as combatants in the so called brawl have no correlation to the duties expected by judges representing the court. At this time I would like to request an interview with the news agency AND reporter who wrote the article, as I'd like to clear up a few misguided issues reported. This includes actual sitting judges of the court.

While I appreciate your shout out and stance on the matter of 'The Aristocracy of Naseer' and SC funding, your response only makes me question your reasoning behind the funding request even more. To give you the benefit of the doubt and believe that my assessment could be wrong, I dug a little deeper into the Aristocracy to see what I could find out. I'll let others come to their own conclusions as to whether this is a country that should receive SC funding.

This is preposterous. You state you have no problems towards the URA or the ARISTOCRACY. Yet, when I read thru your highly one sided summary of said nations, one can't help but think as I read that there's more to you feelings towards the URA than you're willing to admit. An furthermore, the recommendation of an investigation in to the URA is absolutely laughable. Since when does an investigation into a sitting member of the SC be brought up for an inquiry? An I've seen plenty of times, members of the same alliance get aid from the SC by sitting members of both their fed and the SC. You say one thing, yet your actions and words most definitely say another. Since when does a sitting member of the SC have their own state business dug in to with no proper reason behind the shameful attempt at tying together what sounds like to me as a conspiracy attempt by this unknown source who refuses to even give his/her real name. I fear that your presumption of emotion on my part is misplaced, as should be able to be easily read from my initial report. It went out of the way to present facts. The facts may seem one-sided to you, but that is the very nature of presenting a report in response to a call for action. In this regard, the call for action being your resolution for free money for the Aristocracy.
