He got upset that I declared war on the same inactive country as one of his federation members. lol. And then Matthew comes along and tells me I made a big mistake so he runs to "David Clonan" and tells him to threaten me. LMAO. I really don't care who he is. The last time we fought a war in June Mr Corleone said "End the war bro its gonna be a waste of time"... yet he walks around threatening players like he's the best at it. Not saying I am but I don't walk around pretending like I am like he does.

Crazy work for you to play the victim, while you were the one that declared all of the wars, snuck attack us and are now asking for help from random players after declaring war on HYDRA members and members of the WGA days apart. Sort of ironic considering you baselessly accuse me of letting others fight my battles for me.

Just out of curiosity, when was your first declaration on these inactive countries? From what I can see in the international news on WG, the first war dec on Junay, Rohan, and Nicos was on Sept 11 by WG 2 (Matthew). I do see some declarations by your (Ludwig) countries shortly after, but from what I can see Matthew did 'tag' the inactives first so really if that is the case it should be easy to look at the newspaper, see he made the initial declaration, and back off of the targets and communicate that it was just a mix-up (your declarations are close in date so I'm going to give the benefit of the doubt and assume you didn't actually know that he had already declared when you did).

A little diplomacy easily could've de-escalated the situation and even made friends that very well could've offered up the next inactive to you as a sort of olive branch for recognizing this situation and helping it fr

Mr Corleone wasn't a friend to begin with. Like I mentioned before, we fought a war back in June that ended because of a stalemate. What I don't like is him going around threatening me like he's so sure he's going to win, like he assumed last time. And Mr Corleone had not declared war on those countries. Also, his pretense was that the country was supposed to go to Matthew like ok? Shouldn't he be the one declaring war on me then? Instead, Mr Corleone declared war on me because they're allies but Matthew's countries haven't even signed a war treaty. So this is Mr Corleone inserting himself into a situation he wasn't a part of AND he is fighting Matthew's wars. Pretending to protect him when in reality Matthew's countries were not the target of my war declaration.

What I don't understand is if they really want to take over that country, why haven't they continued waging war against it. Part of me thinks its because Mr Corleone doesn't want to make the same mistake I made last year. We were both fighting against the same country, I did the bulk of the fighting and he came in at the last minute when the war index was less than 1, placed an attack and took over the country. He effectively won a war he didn't fight.

I am saying this, though, instead of threatening me, just take action. If y'all really wanna whoop my ass, go for it.

Emperor Ludwig I think you're messing with the wrong people! Corleone is too big to ask for my help and can solely handle you, and I think Mathew is more experienced by far than you think! I just told you what to do.. no excuses! The defences you brag about I set it up and certainly can dismantle it.. you've ran those countries down the hill but that's your business. All I'm asking/demanding is you back off now that you still have a chance to let's just say it was a mistake... refuse doing this then I think it wouldn't go so well.. Right but you didn't really answer my question on who declared war on the inactives first, with what I could see publicly available pointing to Matthew.

Just because you and Corleone had a conflict in the past doesn't mean you have to have one now. He is very involved in the war game, but from my interactions and observations of his interactions with others, more often than not he tends to be fairly reasonable in not engaging in war with other players unless he feels he has to. Again I could be off base but that's the impression that I get.

If Matthew declared war on the inactives to scoop up their resources before you did, it is reasonable that he reaps those rewards without interference. Corleone backing him is the natural move when from their perception you try to swoop in and take what they've already been moving publicly to take. He has fought well, against tough odds. I managed to take three undefended countries at the outskirts and he is trying to chip away at one of my war countries with nukes and conventional batts. He similarly took one of Corleones that he wasnt paying too much attention to. He has got a few nukes in, as have we.

We are looking to see what he is looking to gain with the war as to open for a negotiated settlement.

While I sent him a private DM I am thinking this:

-No going after each others raid targets (we can work exactly what this looks like)
-We can share out some raid targets so he recoops profit from the war
-Non aggression pact for at least three IRL months

I do not hold any animosity and would not be opposed to an Alliance afterwards but it would be understandable if that was not wanted. It takes spunk to fight a much larger group of people and that’s admirable.
