Reporting Hostile Buyer (White Giant)

Allaround an enterprise on White Giant entered a hostile bid for my corporation Latveria Construction No 2.

He refused to respond to my mail asking why he was bidding on my company, this despite the previous bid where it was established by corps are not for sale.

The CEO is davidref.

I am in the process of nationalizing the corporation since he took it over. The corp is in Latveria and is still named Latveria Construction No 2.

I call upon all Presidents to deny his enterprise the ability to build in their countries, nationalize his current corporations and put him out of business.

As far as I can tell he has no countries in White Giant or I'd call for them to be boycotted.

Apparently I ain't the only one he's done this too, as I got a PM from someone saying he'd done it to them, however they've not posted so not sure if they want their name mentioned .

Debt Bombs are very effective against players that like to hostile or nationalize your ceo's corps.

They are not effective against hostile bidders that are raiding your countries corporations. Thats when nukes come in handy. And a little pressure on his fedmates doesn't hurt much either.

Until they add the feature "reduce cash levels" in your country owned corporations, debt bombs will not work in those such cases. You can alternately order max supplies for that corp. You can also nationalize the corp after it passes to the hostile bidder.

The nationalization ended but I still don't have the corp. Looks like he stole it not much I can do...

Its West Lowell, and hes on my northwest border. I think he has expanded his empire since I have first started, because I remember the one country being free that was bordering mine....oh nvm maybe he is Lowell, well, he's got 2 slave countries bordering me...at least he doesn't appear to be a threat, except he may block me from getting a contiguous empire...

I have sent the president of Lowell a message informing him such actions are hostile. I can only hope now for an angry response so I can start destroying all his corporations.

Well Stuart he never did respond to my mails about his hostile bidding. Lowell continues to expand and his enterprise Allround continues to hostilely bid on corporations so I guess Aaron is giving him the same consideration that davidref has shown to others.

23 minutes is actually pretty damned good for Aaron. He has gotten more lenient in his old age.

So, are you thinking of a war between nations, or between CEOs? because, ya know, he's my neighbor, AND in my fed and all.....

Michael, perhaps you should consider asking a different question ... like whether it's a good idea to be in a fed with, and living next door to, a player who consistently hostile bids.

lol the fact I even mentioned thinking about waiting was pretty patient I think....unfortunately real life was conflicting with the war. I'll have to restart it again unless he quits playing. and yes I am a little warmongerer I guess. Its becoming fun.

Well, I am no longer part of the Porta Bellisima fed. So I am now wide open to join anyone's fed. WGC or SFO I would be most interested in at this point, if those guys have room for one more.

WGC Deputy Chair and Foreign Minister
