Aqua was recently Chairman of AF. David is the current chairman. Now if David is temporarily away and assigned Aqua to temporarily lead the federation without becoming the chairman, that makes Aqua the former (is no longer) (he is not replacing but leading AF while David is temporarily away makes him the acting chairman.

Sorry, I can't make it any simpler than that. Anyone else have difficulty understanding this former and acting concept?

That makes sense John. The only thing that DOESN"T make sense to me is DavidW ( who is very smart and respected in my book) leaving power to someone who just almost started another world war because he drank too much wine and wanted to pull a funny in the forums....Somebody is losing their marbles!

it took roughly 2 and 1/2 hours to go back and say "just joking," considering that tensions are raising on other planets do to related issues, i'm not sure i really consider it funny, other than some one looking bad.
