I returned to the game after a week of inactivity to see severe shortages, if anyone knows the reason please let us know.

In the meantime, I made immediate orders (which will make things worse) to sustain/restore supply and production levels, I will try to sustain that since I have around $50T.

Secondly, I will sell 171.55M tons of Oil to partially fix the shortage, this sell will be immediate after the post.

Thirdly, I will push $15T as loans for countries and corporations to make immediate orders and try to sustain population, this push will be immediate after the post. If the supply shortage is not solved by Jan. 5010, I will push another $20T as loans, all for 120 months period.

If you can IPO corporations, please do it, sell 49% of shares. This will allow some cash flow to sustain immediate orders for some time.

I can help as well. I'll import 50B tons of oil from WG, but it'll probably take around a week to get it all get moved. I will also sell enough electricity to bring the shortage to 0.

My unemployment increased from 3.3% to ~5%. Business index halved.

For corporations to withhold the supply shortage and the immediate orders' cost, tax needs to be decreased. I suggest selling shares and use the funds to finance a low-tax period (lower than or equal 15%), so that companies have some cash flow. I am moving towards 15% now.

I did import $1.44T and export $1.73T, this should improve trade and supply sustainability. As of now, I encourage making full local market contracts so that some supply is guaranteed inter-corporation.

The game master should make the market price go with supply and demand, not a fixed number. The situation is bad and is going to get worse. Inflation is a lot better than shortage since you can finance inflation with debt, whereas shortage cannot be solved, and immediate orders have a much higher cost than debt and is not systematic enough.

I've made full common market contracts and I'm using my enterprise to build new corps.

What is causing these shortages?

The gamemaster has some questions to answer. In the meantime it seems like an economic reset and that will make trillions in losses, unless all the players make full common market contracts to isolate supply chain from the international market, and see how things go.

The gamemaster should allow for inflation so that shortage wouldn't be sustained, cuz it seems like it's going to be here for a while.

I did, but why the market price for most products is a flat line although we have severe shortage?
