Introduction
In the interest of preserving peace, the United Confederation and Allied Forces on Golden Rainbow agree to abide by the following terms:

Article I.
Both Allied Forces and the United Confederation agree not to attack each other or allow any of their member's to attack each other. Should any member attack the other federation, both federations are obligated to declare war on this member. Should any member decide to leave either federation and attack the other federation, both federations are obligated to attack this member. Both sides agree that hostile acts such as boycotts, uninvited bidding on private and state corporations and anti-nuclear security council resolutions will not be tolerated and will be viewed as an attack. This shall be applied to all current and future members of both the United Confederation and Allied Forces.

Article II.
Allied Forces Acknowledges that they requested a ceasefire from the United Confederation.

Article III.
Allied Forces agrees to freeze expansion on Paova Major and the region of North Franklin on Centura Donna. This means no new countries may be brought under the AF banner in these regions. The United Confederation agrees to freeze expansion on Hercula Major. This means no new countries may be brought under the UC banner on this continent.

Article IV.
This treaty will be posted on the Simcountry Golden Rainbow Forum under the title "The Treaty of the Great War" and will be publicly signed by the agreed upon representatives of the UC and AF. After which, the treaty will come into full effect.

Article V.
This treaty may be renegotiated at any time if both sides agree to renegotiate it. Any percieved violation must be discussed between representatives of the United Confederation and Allied Forces for a 72 hour period before any action will be taken.

John Fire, United Confederation Negotiator

On behalf of the United Confederation, I would like to bring this treaty into full effect.

I await the signature of Allied Forces. Once that is posted let us open the floor to champagne and whatnot.

As Daconia, Chairman of Allied Forces has stated the treaty was voted and accepted by a majority vote in Allied Forces GR HQ Federation. All members of Allied Forces Federations have been informed and are required to comply. Any infractions by AF members should be reported to Chairman of AF GR HQ (Amis Bar and Grill) or myself (Map Dominion) as soon as detected.

Seems like an anti-climax now though.

As a newbie, please explain this to me.....

What is stopping someone setting up a country, stockpiling it with weapons, THEN declaring alleigence to the Allied Forces? That's what i'd do if I had a grudge.....

Stuart Taylor, as you may notice the treaty states that both AF and UC are responsible to deal with anyone who breaks the treaty.
You are insulting the integrity of Allied Forces too to conjecture that you would be allowed to join their federation and thus break the treaty.

As chairman of the UCC I sign my name on the dotted line.....hmmm....Jf...whats this about our first born? oh probably nothing.

Here's to a long lasting peace and hope for future friendship and further cooperation between our great feds.

P.s. I haven't been wearing pants since before the war started. ;-)

@ Stuart Taylor,
As TatooedPriest stated you would be in violation of the treaty and would therefore be rataliated against by the combined forces of Allied Forces and United Confederation.
To put it in Nute's words: (YOU WOULD LOSE) X10.

My only concern with the whole treaty is Art III. While we will make it clear to all new members the restrictions on location, mistakes happen. Especially when you are dealing with new players. We included Art. V in there to help cover these situations, but if the length of these negotiations taught us anything, it should be that getting a hold of people is NOT always as easy as sending a message.
I plan to exercise extreme tolerance to the letter of Art III, giving a new player who has inadvertently built in the wrong location some time to strip and dereg and am hoping the leadership of UC does the same.

This treaty does not apply to anyone but the above named feds. I will ask you and your fed to refrain from getting involved. Thank you.

JohnL has strayed from the reservation and has declared war on a previous AF member, who again happens to be a friend of mine(bayar). You guys are aware how I tend to go above and beyond for friends. John is acting outside the AF umbrella.

Essentially these minor events, unfolding within Johns "Here I AM" fed, include him and two other players, also outside AF. I would hope that UC would stay out of this and recognize it for what it is. A scrape between players based on friendships and histories, not feds.

Any UC member who has a question or concern can contact me in any world.

The countries: Me and my Weber, Dirts Quest and other former or current member of UC have declared on Appletini a ciuntry onned by Daconia (Chairman of Allied Forces).

As a member of Allied forces and assistant to Daconia, I invoke the terms of Article 1 of The Treaty of the Great War.

And we have mass decs from the UC on Daconia for no reason. I would call this treaty done.

Barney you only owe me five bucks. I had said they would manufacture a reason just like good Nazis. But I did nail the timing.
