would i pay a lower price for supplies by letting the corp buy supplies off the world market or by contracting through the common market.
As i see it if i was paying less i would make more. (thats a no BRAINER) but what i'm asking is would i be better off

Get a common market and make a corp that doesn't upgrade. Have it contracted to yourself and you will get the lowest quality, paying the lowest amount. If those corps are fully upgraded your better off buying off the world market.

Corps that don't upgrade are not optimal investments. Upgrade all of your corps and buy/sell on the world market. If you are worried about shortages of particular materials (like FMUs), hold some stockpiles in your enterprise or country.

Ok , i'm having an issue right now
I have corps that ARE NOT producing because of no supplies, I have them contracted on the common market (to recieve) for the most part.
The contracts page shows no lack of supply -(i mean no Asterike)-i have done direct sales for country to country and to enterprise for what i was shortaged.and it shows in inventroy. I have created new sales proposals on the common market ..I KNOW I HAVE THE SUPPLIES and/or i produce and sale them to myelf.
I had changed my supplies quality to 190 then this happened i changed it back to ANY quality but i'm not getting what i need ......--WHY

make your corps order for short products "immediate" from the world market for which you will pay more but get them much quicker if not straight away OR go to country/enterprise page, trade, trade directly with local corporations, where you can sell direct to your own corps from your country/enterprise.

Sorry, don't use/know CM, but doesn't direct trade work either? If not, then there IS a problem, good luck.

Immediate buy should kick in within a few game days. Give it a chance.

What is your buy strategy grayson? maybe you are buying at too low of a price?

With EO's Help the problem has been resolved.
I was purchasing 90 - 100% of my supplies thru the common market. I have henceforth canceled ALL my purchasing from the Common market and have enjoyed the Higher profits from the world market buying and selling.. i am now considering completly leaving a common market so i can redirect the 25% thats required to be sold on it back into the world market and therefore even higher profits.
Seem like when i set my buying to -10% and +10% for each month not delivered it was a good number to have it's working and i have NOT had shortages
