Why are purchases taking forever?

Seems like it takes FOREVER like days to get some products. I feel like this use to be faster. It has been a hot minute since I have played. Was it not a game month or two typically for goods to come in unless you immediately ordered them?

There are very significant shortages on the market.
some products do not deliver.

in case you are really stuck, especially when corporations cannot produce due to raw materials shortages,
use the order option on the corporations page and order in immediate mode.

it is possible to convert many orders into immediate orders with 2 clicks.
The cost of the materials is higher but corporations can return to full production.
