Sunday, January 11, 2009 - 08:16 am  Hello LU. As you all know, CIS has become something of a world power over the last few months, and it is with a heavy heart that I announce the following. CIS has agreed to merge with Valde Subsidium and our branches will now be known as Tempus Fugit CIS ***** and so on. I have found it increasingly hard to run such a large federation and juggle it with RL and my own countries. After an exhaustative search, I could not find anyone who was willing to take over the reigns, so the branch leaders have voted to merge with VS. To our enemies; This is not a surrender, just a re-organisation, so don't think your off the hook just yet. It just means that you have the whole of Valde on your case to now lol!!! To our allies: Any agreement will be fully honoured. To our friends; Thankyou for being there for us. We appreciate it and will do so in the future. And last but certainly not least....... To our members; Guys, what can I say. You are all brilliant. CIS is here to stay, but under the VS banner now. I'm sorry, but I just don't have the time anymore. You have all helped put us where we are on the world map now, and you will continue to do as much in the VS confederacy. You are all respected members of your designated branches, and I appreciate all you have done for us. This merger will create the largest federation on LU. This merger will help to bring peace and prosperity to LU. This merger will bring new life to both feds. This has been on the cards for some time. It was either SNA or VS, but most branch leaders voted for VS. The 3 that disagreed have joined SNA but their branches remain. Thankyou LU - you have been good friends/enemies!!!!! | Sunday, January 11, 2009 - 08:30 am I am pleased to authorise this merger between the two federations Valde Subsidium and CIS, two very different entities; old and new, respected and upcoming. Qualities that no doubt will compliment each other. I believe that this can be mutually beneficial - Valde gaining a boost of new and promising players, CIS the protection and experience of our members. As Stuart said, this will create the largest federation on Little Upsilon - all CIS branches with exception to that of Keith are involved. The ideology of Valde remains unchanged - Responsibility and Moderation, and we will ensure as the most powerful organisation on the planet, we will always do what is best for it as a whole. The logistical intricacies of the merge are being worked on as we speak, but in no way will it leave either federation harder to manage, less true to it's principles and easier to attack, i can assure you that. | Sunday, January 11, 2009 - 05:26 pm I would like to welcome all of the CIS members who agreed with the merger and will from now on be an integral part of Valde. I know some of you for a very long time now. I've helped some learn some aspects of the game, or provided some help and guidance in some form or the other or simply made you company. I believe no one else but Stuart and I know what was the impact I had in CIS's formation. It was a small contribution, but it was well placed. When Stuart was a young player, he asked membership to Valde, but it was refused. It was more because of Valde being full and getting drag to an occasional conflict than by anyother reason. But I messaged him back considering joining or making a new federation. That's when he got involved and formed CIS with Loki and Danzig some time later. To those who are new or don't know, Valde Subsidium doesn't possess a charter. There's a reason: there are always unforeseeable situations and I trust my fedmates to do the right thing. And when Valde was created, and again when Valde grew last year, I left this clear: We should all be responsible and moderate our own actions. Meaning we care about our fedmates, but none of us drags or forces the other to do this or that. I don't know certain members of CIS, but I would like to meet them. Seven Nation Army has enjoyed a very positive and friendly relationship with both federations. We are looking forward to continuing friendly diplomacy with this new entity. I request that Dub/Stuart inform Priest, EO or myself of who we should contact when conducting formal diplomacy. It now appears that Little Upsilon is left with two 'super' federations. | Sunday, January 11, 2009 - 09:13 pm Thankyou everyone for your kind words, especially LG and Wendy. LG has helped me a lot with my countries and empire, and has had a massive influence on how I have managed my countries, and I look forward to working whith him in the future along with other respected Valde members. Wendy, it wasn't because I couldn't offer protection to my members. I think that I have done pretty well since taking over. But it has taken its toll on me. For 5 months I have been logging in and on average I have around 50 messages a day which I reply to, then I have to update and run our game website which I kept very active, and all that on top of maintaining diplomatic relations with other federations and running my own empire. The game just wasn't fun for me anymore, so that was my main decision to beinging CIS to an end was based on. Considering that I had only been playing the game for 3 RL months when I took over leadership of the federation, I don't think I have done too bad. For that, I have many people to thank so here goes. LG, Dub, KH, Sam, Jason, Barney, Dizzy, TP, Dirt, Austia, Wendy who have all helped in different aspects, and of course, El Cruz, Loki, Danzig, Josias who have all shown their support for me and continue to do so. This isnt the end for CIS. It's just that we are now under the Valde banner. The CIS name will continue to live in our branch names, but at the same time our loyalty is now to Valde. okstate guy, although our fed leader is unable to offer you and fed wide official diplomatic relations, I can vouch for his integrity. He is one of the few players on here who I would trust my account details to, and has always been truthful and fair with myself. However, the agreement which we signed with your federation before this merger will be fully honoured, but to bring us in line with VS policy, i'm afraid that I will not be able to re-new it but again, I will then offer you my word that you will not be attacked by the members which I brought to VS. I hope that in writing this, I have cleared up and rumours or misconceptions as to why this merger has happenend. Thankyou for your time.

Let it be known that CIS members previously acquired are NOT exempt to the "1000T of assets on the wall campaign." 5T Down 995T to go. But this doesn't have to be. . . . Despite a most genuine effort to broker a cease fire by Stuart, Myself, and Laguna... Dubby, in his most selfish and egotistical form, intervened with the sole intent of breaking the whole process down. He succeeded. I would take that as evidence that he in fact doesn't care for CIS members economies or their well being. Just when I thought Stuart was a bad leader . . . along came a "dubby" . . er . . spider. There are two exceptions that I am applying to my own campaign. Jeffboy, whom I consider a great diplomat, and good guy all around, he has not let in game stuff fall over to rl world convo. And Josias as well. He has been more than understanding, and I don't wish any ill-will to either of these two. Despite this breakdown of talks, my offer still stands. I am willing, to halt now and forevermore actions against CIS former members, IF i recieve a Permanent Non Aggression Pact in Forum from VS seeing as this is where CIS members are to go. Binding to all parties involved indefinitely. I also agreed to derreg my c3s on CD as soon as we sign this agreement. That was at Dubs request, but after I agreed he went on some crap about an apology, Kissin his arse and telling him how he's the greatest, and WTF eva. So here we are. Policies have not and will not change until a deal is brokered along these very reasonable lines. Knowing how self centered this false messiah can be, I have prepared for this situation to come about. I have setup a temporary federation as a shelter to escape attacks, even to honor Stuarts departure and his hard work he has put into CIS. CIS Omega, the final Branch. You may enter this federation as a temporary shelter from attacks until some deal is worked out or just in case it isn't. I will say now that I DO NOT wish to Lord over CIS members,I have my own federation. I would like to relinquish the Chairmanship upon conclusion to the conflict to a former member of CIS. To hold a good work intact and to avoid letting CIS Die out at the hands of a war or a false messiah. Join or not Its your choice, may it go well with you. You can stay in solidarity and have your own identity or you can stay in Valde, and still be subject to war. This merger changes nothing. I ask all interested members to come to the peace table, and urge an end to this so we can all get on to making GC. I hope you can get your leaders to agree quickly to peace because my patience for Rogue Valde Members attacking me is nearing an end. And as Dub so kindly stated, I could never Dream of taking any of his slaves. But I sure can make an impact on his membership. This is not a threat but rather an incentive to move into the peace arena. I too enjoy making money. I hope we can begin to make it together. In one hand we have peace . . . I entered the peace talks and offered you three terms: A: You apologise to a list of players you have insulted B: You Promise to conduct yourself amicably and properly in game C: You Promise to conduct yourself amicably and properly on the forums You refused these fair terms easily, why? Because you were planning to break your suggested treaty all along. After you quietened down from your ranting and admissions of Multiple Personality Disorder, i in fact told Stuart he could still ask for peace between his CIS branch of Valde and you, without terms, he declined. Yes it is true i refused peace with no terms, because every treaty you have entered into you have broken - you declarations on CIS earlier this week. What use is a treaty when one party cannot be trusted and openly wishes to break it when the situation is more in their favour? I will not be bound by a treaty of unconditional ceasefire whilst you continue to attack innocent players who find it hard to defend themselves - Phatz and Q. Furthermore, i pledge to wholeheartedly protect any country against Wendy, our new brothers in Valde, or any innocent player she declares upon. The fact she asked for peace is a sign of her true weakness - she has nothing to attack with in game, thus she must resort to stupid posts like this which undermine fair and patient players. She even asked a federation to attack a barely defended slave of mine on FB, which i have been trying to sell. You can choose to join CIS omega if you wish, insanity that it would be. | Monday, January 12, 2009 - 07:05 am Heres a quick clarification. Sol and The Kiharxis Orbital Defense were both Economy Slaves. Lunar Cry was indeed a prized war slave. It lasted for quite a few game years before eventually it fell just like magic. I stripped away its defenses forts, tanks, bases, anything of defense value. Schooling is a little more important than fighting and talking diplomacy at 3 O clock in the morning. During the same process I sold my empire. I scored As on my finals . What happened was I decided not to fight back, no time in the world for a productive battle. Either way, congratulations CIS and VIS on the merge. Hopefully peace will be able to reign once more, if only people would open their eyes and become a little more just, and tolerant.
