Monday, January 26, 2009 - 07:08 am  As most of simcountry forum frequenters know, King Hezekiah and his new organization, NLUO have caused much tension since their arrival to Little Upsilon. Despite public denouncements by many of the game's most respected and experienced players, the NLUO has been allowed to grow and attempt to expand its membership and size. Recently, a member of the NLUO, Kingasia, was granted one of the random security council spots and has made three proposals in his first week of office: First: He proposed a ban of nukes from Stuart Taylor Second: He proposed untied development aid for King Hezekiah, who has been playing the game for many months and claims to be very good at game economics as well as warfare, so he obviously doesn't need the aid. Third: He proposed development aid to The Land of Birds, another NLUO member, who has way more in military assets than he has in debt. After a recent war resulted in Stuart Taylor generously giving King Hezekiah a new slave, there has been discussion of attacking the slave once its war protection wears off. On the eve of battle, OkState, a valuable member of Seven Nation Army, received a war declaration from Wendy, one of the leaders of the NLUO. As a federation, Seven Nation Army has decided that we are tired of dealing with the constant bickering on the forum, constant attempts to gain power without having any skill, and constant irritation that the NLUO poses. All of this said, Seven Nation Army has voted resoundingly in favor of declaring war on the NLUO. I am aware that there are Seven Nation Army members that are King Hezekiah sympathizers and/or just find his NLUO an intriguing idea. I will let those members speak for themselves. I neither condone nor condemn King Hezekiah. I feel badly for him due to the poor choices he's made and for his inability to properly interact with others. There was a time when King and I were friends. Unfortunately he quickly began circulating very damaging propaganda with my name on it unbeknownst to me and that is primarily what severed our relationship. Due to this brief friendship King took the liberty to include my name and some of my federation material in his own websites. Yes, at first I was appauled and felt betrayed and wanted my website to stop being plagurized. However, I don't care anymore. Seven Nation Army has since created a newer, better website. I continue to allow King Hezekiah to keep my name on his NLUO pages for several reasons. He does not need to remove my name or any other Seven Nation Army members name that has given him permission to keep it on his site. While King and I are not best of friends, I do have a heart and tend to care about people. He has not damaged Seven Nation Army, the members, or myself nor hurt us in any way. I back Okstate's decision for taking his countries because if anyone ever told me that they were building an empire to destroy me I would do exactly what Okstate did. However, I will never jump on the anti-Hezy bandwagon. I am fully aware he is very controversial. But I believe if one of our respected SimCountry game veterans would have come up with the same quirky stuff that Hezzy has created that it would have been met with an entirely different attitude. Another federation was taking SOL/NLUO slaves - I offered Grayson the chance to escape certain destruction and promised him the defense of my empire. After he joined SNA, I informed those who were attacking SOL/NLUO to leave Grayson alone, that he had our protection. If Grayson wishes to return to SOL, or join another federation, he is free to do so. SNA does not strong-arm its members. We function very much like a democracy and allow our members to maintain their sovereignty. As for the two of us, I still respect you and hope that we can be friends again. In the past I have always approached you with all concerns in a respectful manor. I have always tried to treat you with honer, kindness and respect. I hope that we can return to that soon.

The peace treaties were agreed BEFORE he joined SOL, so your actions should reflect this, and as overall chairperson - you should be able to keep him under your control. Then again - you cant keep yourself under control - let alone manage a federation full of n00bs. Perhaps you should stand aside and allow someone else to run SOL - you have neither the skill nor experience to do it yourself, so why not?

Third: He proposed development aid to The Land of Birds, another NLUO member, who has way more in military assets than he has in debt like u said he is in debt he is in need he has went over board on the spending and is cutting back to improve finances this is jst to make him become profitable again by paying down debt.

Some sort of action needs to take place or get planned before a person is correctly labeled as a terrorist.
