Is the policy now to dec on active players and raid them? Or are peaceful players now cannon fodder to be raided at whim? |

Heh I check all my countries at least once every 2-3 days... So at most it'd say active in the last week. And he dec'ed on Yarlin's countries and I know I don't have any war treaties with those since none are in my branch of the fed. He had to have dec'ed on one of my own or one in my branch. |

I wish I knew. I believe all personal alliances are still in place, but the federation itself seems to be splintering due to lack of leadership.
I have been busying establishing myself in my new home, Dallas, but I will be seeking a new federation due to the aggressive actions of others. |

I thought he was a player from GR. had similar name. You remember GR Im sure. Well, I dec'd him on LU, killed him, then found out I had the wrong guy. so I rebuilt him and let him take the country back. The name thing has thrown me to this day but Im sure I had the wrong guy.

I am a new player, only joined in Oct or November. I am told I have a similar name to someone else.
I have only played on LU although I currently have a country on FB just to get GCs and then pass it on to the next person so they can get GCs. But I'm only on LU.
So either you've confused me with someone else or else I know how to make enemies without doing anything.

I was just complaining about the game as whole.
There's a structural problem (maybe two) with the war end of the game that hasn't been fixed in years. Other things have been addressed, but they are cumbersome sometimes.
Now, I'm looking at a half-dead community of wise guys, spammers, bastards and one word monologues and wondering what you people are going to do about it. Because, it seems pretty obvious it will stay that way, despite W3C's [insert nice, pretty, altruistic and sarcastic adjectives here] attempts.
Not trying to see any greater good in this thread, but doesn't seem like deccing will solve anything. |

Screw this. All this just so some jerk can get their cheap jack-off by screwing up someone else's empire and economy.
Unless some miracle occurs and he offers to pay me reparations and/or fix up all my countries, as soon as I get home after my 18 hr work shift, I'm de-regging and leaving the game.
This is ridiculous, he won't even reply to a single message either. |

2) I have been active enough so I shouldn't be considered an inactive.
3) My recent schedule has looked like this: 100-120hr/week at the hospital and I occasionally have time in my office to check, like now when I'm eating lunch at 1:40pm in the afternoon.

SNA had most of its leaders busy for a while. I have mostly new people in my branch, or those with only mains and not interested in war. I guess I was naive enough to think that I could defend them and myself in a war, albeit a conventional war. I still have to learn about a nuclear war. |

Actually to speak frankly -
what has me pissed was the assumption that active players would not be adversely affected nor harmed regardless of what federation they are in. Even in a war, it would be declared properly to fight in, nothing renegade like to keep the peace. However, since this war began, no aid has been received by anyone, be it disaster relief or military aid.
However this event, regardless of its justification underscores how false this assumption is. It won't matter who you are or what your playstyle is, you will get raided or attacked for fun unless you belong to an alliance to deter any fights unless its full scale alliance war.
I was lead to believe I could play peacefully, on LU and in SNA and I find this to not be the case. Although there is a minor disclaimer of such on the sign in, it has always been reinforced in the forums that peaceful, active players and countries would be left alone.
If wildeyes had a vendetta against me, I won't have an issue. Of course if there was a vendetta, I have not done anything to my knowledge that would warrant a vendetta. If I have, I'd like to know. My guess is she was bored and picked me as a plump target to whip around and the SNA tag just added more bang for the buck.
Regardless, it still is a very bitter pill to swallow especially all the losses I've taken. If she had conquered my countries, I'd probably feel angry but less annoyed. She just nuked my countries, destroyed most of my economy and pop and left me the pieces to rebuild. That is very annoying. In the end, she did over 50T in damages and lost income and it will take quite a while for me to rebuild all that. That might seem like chump change to some, but that is quite a lot to a young empire like mine. At least a month or two to rebuild assuming I am given the time to rebuild back. |

Joking aside, heh it's a very expensive lesson to learn.
I did a calculation of my losses: 30 mil pop lost, 125 corps lost, at least 700B a month in lost income along with other assorted miscellaneous expenses to recover.
Anyone (besides wildeyes) want to sell me some pop to recover? I'm looking for at least 30 mil pop at 4 GCs each (since I highly doubt wildeyes will recompense me for all the damages she's done).
I figure I'll try to rebuild until the next straw that breaks the camel's back. |

that's fine. Like I posted above, I don't like it either. It was what I was lead to believe from what I've read in the forums and what I was told by SNA when I joined.
Then to see it crashing down is a harsh reality to face. If you wanted to reinforce this message, it was a harsh way of showing it by adding more fuel to the fire.
Whatever, what happened has happened. It will take time to rebuild but as I said earlier... it really is a bitter pill to swallow. |

The attack on SNA members is not to be glorified at all. The reason this incident is even happening is becuase most members like myself are too busy at the moment to even attempt to contribute to this fed economically or military. Seven Nation Army is extremely too big to keep track of everyone especially with newer players so it was agreed upon that I would DISBAND the fed and keep the ones that I talk to on a daily basis and remake a new fed. The ones that are not in the kept circle I could not vouch for becuase I can only help the ones that have brought themselves to my table. SNA will be reformed except in the way that I want it to be. One must keep in mind when you attack innocent players they may hold that as vengance for a long time ingame which is why I send my apologies to the players been declared upon, if need be build up a good defense and do your best and to the ones that are with me now keep up the hard work my schedule is about to open just a wee bit longer and things will be back to normal. I hope this clears things up abit thank you for your time,

Are you being invaded or are hostile units present. troops can end up over a border without a war. Also people can set up airbases and depots which remain in other countries even if ownership changes.
You cannot fire weapons unless you are at war so the invasion can be ignored. Basically it is a glitch. |
